Rating: Summary: A Phone Fanatic :-) Review: After shopping and even purchasing and returning an AT&T, I have found this phone to be quite adequate to say the least! The features are great. The answer machine part is excellent! and the phone does have pretty good range. I like it!
Rating: Summary: Don't miss this one Review: After the rave reviews all over the web I decided to go for this one and I'm not disappointed at all. Good quality and range, lots of features AND easy to use, sturdy and dependable. Voice mail quality is less than perfect, but still intelligible. You get a lot of bang for your buck on this one!
Rating: Summary: Can't Beat It! Review: Before AT&T phones became shoddy, I would have said they were the best on the market, but now, after trying dozens of different models of cordless phones, I finally found one that is just as good as the old AT&T's. I did go through a battery after about 2 years, but that is the least thing that could happen. Has all the bells and whistles for a great price. Sound is excellent, and the volume of rings, voice, and answering machine can be adjusted. Recommend it highly.
Rating: Summary: More bang for the buck!!!! Review: Being a review junkie, I searched hi and lo for the best cordless phone/answering machine I could find. After picking up a Consumer Reports mag. that rated it the best, I decided to buy it....I have never been happier!!! The one thing that is peculiar is the answering machine...When leaving an out going message dont speak into it from the top as it will cause the message to sound muffled...Pick the unit up and speak into it with the unit horizontal...This will solve that little prob...The sound is crystal clear and the features are superb....All I can say is this Uniden is an excellent product at an excellent price...What more could a consumer ask for!!!!
Rating: Summary: Checker's Phone Review: Checkers loves this phone. She plays the messages back frequently. She ezpecially likes the deep, authoritative default message voice: "You have NO messages 1:37 AM."One morning I got up at 1:37 AM to tell Checkers to stop playing with the phone for Heaven's sakes. I ended up having to unplug it and put it in the closet to get it away from her. About a week later a friend told me I needed to check the outgoing message. It was me scolding Checkers at 1:37 AM. The machine had recorded it from across the room as Checkers sat on the button. The sound quality was quiet good actually. Ahem! So, is it a good phone? Yes. Can you understand the callers and messages and vice versa? Yes. Does it record hangups? No. Has it ever lost a message in my year and half of owning it? No. Can you continue to have a lively conversation with the LL Bean operator when you realize your credit cards are in your purse -- in the truck -- across the road and up the hill a bit? Yes. Quite lively in fact. Is it so easy to record, answer and playback calls a cat could do it? Yes. Ask Checkers. Best feature: battery backup. Even when in the closet for the night, it forgets nothing. "You have NO messages 2:57 AM."
Rating: Summary: Where can I get a battery? Review: Here is a problem. I have this phone. I cannot find a new battery for the darn thing! What am I supposed to do now?

Rating: Summary: Love my Uniden exai7980i Review: I absollutely love this phone. Love it so much, that I bought 4 of them just in case one of them dies and tehy have quit making it. Had another similar phone that I liked a little better (AT&T) but it died and it was more than twice as much. The feature it had that Uniden doesn't is that it actually spoke and told you who was calling in your own voice.
