Summary: not as good as it should be
Review: A little disapointing in all. I like the features and I did not need two cordless phones. There is a lot of background noise on the cordless handset, but I have already gotten used to it after one week. The corded phone sounds good, and the speaker phone is acceptable, but I have had complaints that it sounds hollow on the other end. It works well enough though. I love the directory, but you have to put all the numbers in to the handset and the base phone seprately. I can understand why, but it does not suit my needs as I live alone and am the only person using both phones. It would be nice if they could communicate. I haven't read the manual all the way through, but I don't think you can even check the messages from the cordless.
The phone looks great. A lot of the cordless phones out there are trying to look like cell phones or some sort of George Jetson appliance. This phone is very understated and looks attractive on my end table. Its also nice not to have two wires coming out, as the handset only needs a power cord.
I would expect a lot more from ATnT. They don't even make this phone. It is made by another no-name company and marketed under their name. I would think that they would take a little more interest in the use of their name.
This phone is nice for the price, but you should consider the above before you buy it.
Thanks for reading

Summary: At&T phone review
Review: Excellent features. Don't discount the corded feature. When the power goes out (like it does in Florida during hurricaines) you still get calls through the corded base. An all-cordless system leaves you stranded.

Summary: It's a great phone. Don't listen to the naysayers...
Review: I bought the black version of this phone about a year ago and I have to say that I'm extremely pleased with it. The corded unit looks so good it's practically a work of art and it's backlit LCD screen is by far the most clear/legible that I've ever seen. All of the buttons on both the cordless and base units are very responsive (no sticking or hard pressing) and the general feel of each phone is very solid. The cordless unit works pretty much flawlessly, but I do have to admit that the reception is not quite as clear as the corded base unit (very few corless phones are). It's still very clear and nothing even noticeable when you're using it.

Summary: Nice Idea bad product
Review: I bought this product thinking I would still have phone service during winter power outages. The corded phone works great. However the cordless phone didn't work. I took it back and got a replacement. The cordless phone worked for a while, but after a couple months, stopped recharging. AT&T customer service is impossible to get in touch with, and I've given up.

Summary: Horrible feedbacks
Review: I bought this system from another store. I'm so sorry I did. The cordless is barely usable because of the terrible feedback you get when you're on it. You can hear everything else around you better when you're on the phone accept the person that is calling you. The telephone with caller ID and answering system is okay, but that too has feedback and the person calling you has a hard time hearing you unless you shout into it. What a bad investment. I thought I was getting a good product when I saw AT&T on the box. I was wrong. Please if you're considering a phone, don't buy this product. You'll be sorry you did.

Summary: happy...again
Review: I had previously purchased 2 individual cordless phones. I bought the 2nd because I like the 1st. I additionally bought this item and I am satisfied with my purchase. Everything seems to work fine. The corded phone is awesome and has way more features than I will ever use. The only problem I ever had was with the 1st phone I purchased. It has however been dropped numerous times and is about 4 years old. It got to where you could read the caller id and the reception had gotten bad.

Summary: I've never been happier
Review: I have been working with electronic equipment for over twenty years, and I find this telephone easy to use, program, and the reception is excellent. I can be working outside 20 plus feet away from the base and the reception is clear.

Summary: great in theory, but...
Review: I have this phone, in fact, I liked the idea and look of it so much, I hoped the problems I was having were just specific to the phone I bought - meaning hopefully it was a lemon. Unfortunately, I bought another one and replaced it and still have a problem with it. Periodically the phone cuts in and out so it sounds like you are on a cell and going through a bad cell site...This is on the corded phone, not the extension. Everything else with the phone is fine, you have all the features you could want, but this little problem is enough of a nuisance to really bring down the rating. If you buy it, I hope you don't have the same problem. For me, I lived with it for about a month, then it started getting worse. That's when I returned the first phone and got the replacement...it's started with this one, but I can't find a corded phone w/an extension for anywhere near the same price, and the only other one I've found is another AT&T. Hope this is helpful.
