Summary: Great Web Cam.. Recommend!
Review: Bought this one about seven days ago, looked pretty sturdy, good base and flatscreen support. All drivers worked without problems, was able to do some video chat with friends via yahoo and messenger...

HOWEVER, the video images it produces are VERY dark (even if you have a bright room) and very saturated in RED....

Sturdy design, BAD video images... (i am sending it back..)

Summary: Not a good buy for use with XP
Review: Has a nice look to it, but with Windows XP that's pretty much all you get. I looked up the error message from installing the software and the site said the cam might not be getting enough power through the USB port, however, the camera heated up pretty well. So much to the point where I could smell it. Instead of tinkering with it further, back to the store it will go tomarrow.

Summary: Easy to use, good picture
Review: I bought this webcam last night and installed it on a HP Pavilion notebook running Windows ME. The software was easy to install and use, and the camera worked instantly with Yahoo Messenger, Microsoft Netmeeting and icuii. The picture quality was good, even in low light. Overall, I'd highly recommend the Veo Advanced Connect for someone looking for an inexpensive camera for basic video chatting.

Summary: Great Web Cam.. Recommend!
Review: I have been with the web cam for several months and I
love it very much. The picture quality is pretty nice
in both online instant message programs and local pic-
taking application. Well, the only thing I would
complain about this camera is the looking: not that
pretty :-) Well, it is not web cam not a decoration for
my room.. So no big deal for me.. And plus I like the
"spider" stander which fits my LCD monitor perfectly.
And you can switch the spdier to a flat stander as well.
I video-conversated with my friends and they are impressed
by my image quality and several of them even got the same
one for themselves..

Summary: Adequate but nothing special
Review: I just purchased this cam from a local store with the reassurance that I could bring it back for a refund. I will be doing that. The camera is a sleek looking little gadget with it's bright blue led and spider legs, installation was a breeze. This is where it stopped impressing me though. The low light performance of this camera is dismal. Be prepared to have a floodlight focused on your face! Motion caputure is also very bad; any movement and the subject blurs horribly. If there is any significant motion the video also becomes extremely choppy. A very quirky thing that I noticed about this camera is that the live image i see is NOTHING like the output image. I see over saturation and a reddish hue and the outputted image looks proper; this is annoying and I don't really understand it. Basically, this camera is a decent cheap webcam, but if you don't like getting your face sunburned from a light 3 inches away, or if you plan on using it for anythign other than bandwidth limiting video conferencing DON'T BUY IT!

Summary: Beware: No Tech Support- You're gonna need it
Review: I own two smooth running Windows PCs. One runs Windows 98 First Edition, the other runs Second Edition. The Veo Advance Connect Camera worked on neither of them.

In fact, upon installing it on one computer, a blue screen-fatal system error automatically popup and persisted as long as the camera was plugged in. Perhaps this problem could be solved- I wouldn't know' tech support never e-mailed back. After 7 days, I gave up on this cheap, hopeless camera and returned it promptly for a Logitech 310 Webcam, one that has decent quality, but at least works.

Summary: Great price and fast set-up. Great way to stay in touch!!!
Review: I paid $... for the web cam. Took about as long to get out of the box as it does instal. I'm Getting one for each of my friends and members of my family who own a computer.
The pictures are a bit choppy, yes, and you need to have a lot of light to see anything, but that's my only big complaint... Also not really flat screen friendly, just a bit hard to find a place to clip (also comes with a flat base) the camera to the top of the computer screen..
4/5 stars.

Summary: Don't buy this cam! JUNK!
Review: I was able to install it quickly and it "worked" OK.

The problem was the picture. It had the worst looking picture I have ever seen on a webcam. I looked in the troubleshooting guide and it said nothing about picture quality. I played with all the settings and only made it worse...

Don't make the same mistake I made!
