And with 15 channels and 38 privacy codes, this radio can screen out interference from other radios. The unit also has a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver so you can easily navigate your way through the most remote areas. GPS is the latest technology that pinpoints your exact location using satellites orbiting the earth. Draw up the Audiovox's GPS functions to set waypoints, navigate to your destination, and track yourself along a route. The large LCD display is easily readable when you are trying to scan radio channels or follow a GPS route. The convenient swivel belt clip and VOX feature allow hands-free operation of the transceiver. Other features include a fold-down antenna, squelch control, and volume control.
