These Uniden GMRS radios offer fifteen total channels (8 GMRS and 7 FRS), along with thirty-eight sub-channels for added privacy. The four AAA batteries (not included) will run the radio for an impressive twenty-two hours. These radios come VOX (hands-free) ready, although they are designed to be used with a headset. The radios also come with recharging circuitry should you decide to purchase the recharging kit assessory. The GMRS channels will provide up to a five mile range.
