This pair of radios is extremely compact. While certainly easy to use (no FCC license is required), these radios have some very useful features, including hands free (VOX) capability, auto squelch/auto scan, electronic channel/volume control, last channel save and power save cirquitry allowing for the four AAA batteries to last up to thirty-five hours.
