Review: Bought 2...not worth returning, but they're not VOX, the mike is hard-wired to be permanently on. Ripped the mic plug off with some pliers & using it as an earpiece-only.

Summary: NOT for the UFR8082
Review: This model of VOX speaker/microphone is not for the UFR8082, however it works just fine with the Midland 75515XL line of radios. It has good sensitivty without catching every stray noise. Best to use as a throat-mike in the Midland 75515XL.
