The battery offers two hours of talk time and more than 10 hours of standby time. If you have a two-way radio that runs on AA alkaline batteries, you'll need Motorola's rechargeable battery upgrade kit instead (model number 53619), which includes a NiMH rechargeable battery, a docking station, and an AC power transformer/charger.
