Summary: These left the R + D room to early - recall and redesign.
Review: I was excited about the concept. I still am, but these are A total miss for a company that I buy many things from. I have other Panasonic headphones that have worked great for many years. These pull down and back on my ears till I quit trying to use them because of the pain. They will not stay in your ears, unless you use both hands to hold them in, then they sound ok. I was totally disappointed in the magnetic----so called shaker system. It won't stay against the back of my head without holding it there and I think shaker is to much credit to give this weak system. The cord--volume box is worthless, It just felt "on and weak, or off." I guess if you duct taped these tight against your head, you would get A little bit of what I was expecting...Panasonic has always been a leader, this has really surprised me.(1) They need A total different way to wear them. (2) They need a much stronger magnet system--"lets really shake it up, or change the name". (3) They need a real volume control (4)They have to fit the ears-- so we can have a hands free system. They are nothing but junk, and I have seen better quality with Panasonic than in Sony products more times than not over the past 25+ years. I think they all let junk get past them, but not very often with Panasonic and Sony. They should be ashamed of these, they build great things -- and I hope they recall-----and do these in the quality that they are known for. Mistakes like this cause companys to loose many customers for life. I know this is an oversight -- I have two belt carry Panasonic disc and cassette players with Panasonic headsets and they are totally perfect...I want Panasonic to get these back, and realize what they did...I think Amazon needs to start listening to customer complaints, with the customers well being as their number one goal.

Summary: Great for added kick in video games
Review: I've owned these head phones for over 1 year and a half now and I still love them. They were well worth the money. They make me want to buy a seat which has speakers in it. If you want a seat but it costs too much, then this is the perfect cheap alternative.

I play video games on my computer with these on, and they really add to the realism. Counter Strike, and most likely any other first person shooter, is great with them making you feel each hit. You literally jump in your seat. Once you've played with them you can never go back to ordinary headphones.

The only draw back is that the cord is kinda short.

Review: If you like deep, moving bass these headphone are for you! I was a bit skeptical, but these are the real deal!

Summary: Unique and cool...
Review: If you never touched one before and you are thinking about buying it, then just go to a retailer store and see for yourself!

I found out that for most people, the headphones really hurts. The plastic phones that you put in your ears are PLASTIC. It means that if you don't like plastic in your ear, then it could hurt you! It would be a perfect gift if the phones were covered by rubber, but putting rubber on it yourself won't help. The only downside is that if it hurts, you might get used to it or you deeply hate it.

For those who truly like it, don't overuse the VMSS! After long hours of use, you will feel weird(just half of a plastic toy can do). And last advise, don`t break the thing!

The other thing I didn`t like was that it didn`t fit in my ears and it keeps coming off when I walk(try this at a store!)!

At the end, it recalls to a certain type of consumers and it`s pretty expensive.

Summary: Great product, but needs a re-release
Review: The concept is great! The bass moves with the music and I haven't heard trance better on headphones yet. For being in-ear, this set offers a great range of sound, and the clarity is superb. It's as close as you're going to get to being at a club and standing next to a speaker. There really is a difference when you're feeling an actual bass behind your neck. You have to try it to believe!

But... the headphones don't fit every head perfectly. The only adjustable part of the headphone is where you can place the earhole, and that rotates in and out (look at the picture for a better image). The headphones weren't designed for small or large people, only the "average" head size. I would caution that. I'm a small person, so in order to get the VMSS in the right place on the back of my neck I have to compromise the comfort of having the earplugs in my ear correctly. Also, when you move your head in a nodding motion, the neck piece moves, which means the earplugs move as well, causing more discomfort.

I can't wear these for very long (more than half an hour), but while I am wearing them, it sure is an experience.

Summary: Good Idea, Weak Implementation
Review: The idea behind these headphones sounds kind of strange but they do actually make a significant difference in the feel of music that has a lot of bass.

BUT...

The problem with the design of the headphones makes the benefits somewhat moot. When I was able to get the ear pieces to fit in my ears properly (by holding them there) I was able to see what panasonic was intending by adding the vibrating component. But I had to hold them there and if I didn't the buds would pull back rather painfully on my ears. Furthermore, the sound was terrible because they wouldn't sit properly in my ears.

I don't know if it's just that I have a big head (I do), or if it is just bad design, but these just don't quite seem to work as well as they could. If you like to feel bass these might be worth a try but don't be surprised if you find yourself returning them a couple days later.

Summary: music experience!
Review: The Problem with all protable devices is that the sound quality is Just never that good. But with the Brain Shaker you can actually feel the music, I must say it is quite a feeling, it sends vibrations into the body and in some cases it has given me the chills a few times because the feeling is that good. I give these a five star because they are truley worth it.
