Summary: Overpriced version of the MX300..
Review: Overall, I'm dissapointed! I have the MX300 and they sound identical and they are like $10 less! Don't get me wrong, they are great earbuds, but I was expecting an improvement from the MX300... save yourself $10, buy the MX300 instead, the volume control doesn't change the level that much anyway.

Summary: Excellent value but sound quality disappointing
Review: Perhaps I placed too much hope on these headphones from reading the rave customer reviews but the earbuds were disappointing.
The Good Stuff:
1. Cord length (not too short or long)
2. Delivers good enough surround sound for earbuds
3. Volume control on cord (especially if you have your player away from your immediate person in backpack or purse)
4. Decent bass
5. Price (can't be beat!)
The Bad Stuff:
1. Music tends to sound a little muddled
2. Fit (keeps falling out of my ears)
3. Wish it had a gold plated stereo plug
4. Feels a bit plasticky
5. Does not block out enough external noise (I have to turn my music way up in public areas or on public transportation)
Overall, these are good stopover headphones as I make my way (and save up cash) towards earbuds like the Shure E2c or the Etys ER-6.

Review: Pro's:
handles bass well, altho it doesn't have good bass by default. (especially contrasted with the sharp higher ranges.)
highs sound very good, vocals great. larger stage, more live than my ipod 3g earbuds
volume slider (limiter) is very convenientCons:
smaller earbud than the ipod earbuds, which are a bit larger. (these don't stay in my ear.)
weak bass, unless you increase from your output device which it will handle well. (*fit is crucial with earbuds - if you can get a tight fit to your ear canal, which I can't, you will get much better bass)
cord is about 4-5" shorter than ipod's Overall I would probably love these - setting my ipod to 'bass booster' gives it a very rounded live sound - but they simply are too loose in my ear, which of course is going to vary for everyone. These buds aren't a sennheiser panacia that you may be hoping for with the sennheiser name, but I think they can be much more than worth it for some people, just not me.

Summary: good headphones
Review: quite comfortable, good sound, fit well in my ears with supplied foam pads. A little more durable cords than, say, the cords on Sony earbuds. The volume feature is handy if you need to dim the sound without messing with your player controls. I am impressed. The cord is just a tad short for my taste, but it's not a serious restriction.

Summary: Good sound, but amazingly uncomfortable
Review: Regardless of Sennheiser's consistent pension for making wonderful sounding headphones, these are so uncomfortable that it cannot justify the purchase. Go with the Sony Earbud Headphones (MDR-EX70LP) and you will be much happier (search around for prices).

Review: Returned these immediately. They sound tinny - too high on the high frequency. Crisp and clear, but not a balanced sound in my opinion. If you can control your treble on your player these might be fine.

Review: Sound is good, fit is horrible. I thought if anyone could get it right, Sennheiser could. My [money] mistake, oh well. They fall out very easily and aren't to pretty jutting from your ears. Review: The bass is very weak. Tinny sound
The high freqs come through very strongly. I personally felt the trebles got a little irritating after a while.
All-in-all, I wouldn't recommend it. My iPod buds easily out-perform.

Review: These are my daily-use buds with my iPod. Better overall sound (especially bass) than the stock (new version) Apple buds. I like the inline volume slider too. Just can't beat 'em for the price!

Summary: Great earbuds for the money
Review: These are the best earbuds to buy at this price. The sound is great and they are not so large as to be too uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time. The in-line volume control is an added bonus. Earbuds that cost 2 to 3 times as much as these don't have that feature. I have a more expensive pair of Sony earbuds that are rated higher in sound quality by "experts" but the size of the earbuds is larger and uncomfortable to wear for more than 30 minutes. If you are like me and have smaller ear canals, get these earbuds. If you want the biggest bang for your buck, get these earbuds. Paying [money] for earbuds is stupid if you can't wear them.
