Review: Do not buy this battery. I bought it because I hoped it would have more life than my current 900 mAh ion battery... not so. I uncharged it and recharged it for 4 days but it still only lasted 12 hours. I promptly sent it back There are many colors available of this battery, and after buying it I went and read the reviews of each color. In some reviews, people stated it ruined their phones by overheating them. If my experience isn't enough to convice you not to buy it, I hope theirs is.

Summary: A lot better than the Nokia original.
Review: First, this is dark blue, not the minty turquoise shown here. It's almost a match for the blue transparent faceplate for the Verizon Nokia 3285, which it's also compatible with. (The 3285 is really an update of the 6185i CDMA version of the 6100 series.)This 1500 mAh vibrating battery is rated for 67% more power than Nokia's only official vibrating battery, the 900 mAh one. I've been comparing full charge to shut-off times between the two, and I'm actually getting about 75% more time in comparison to my Nokia battery. The vibrating alert works exactly the same as the Nokia, both for ringing and for SMS. Especially if you have a CDMA Nokia (5185, 6185, 3285), this is an excellent choice. The Nokia CDMA phones are terrible battery hogs compared to the equivalent TDMA versions from AT&T/Cingular. So the only way to get the "I forgot to charge it last night but need to use it today" battery life is with a battery like this. Size is thicker than the 1100 mAH non-vibrating Li-poly Nokia battery that comes with these phones now. Exactly the same size as the older Nokia 900 mAh batteries so should fit all cases.

Review: I have a Nokia 6160 and bought this battery because I wanted to brighten up its appearance a little, get a longer battery life, and have the vibration feature. I was hesitant since this is not a "Nokia" brand battery, but it had all the features I wanted at a great price. I attached it as soon as I got it and haven't taken it off since. The battery that came with the phone lasted 3-5 days with light to moderate use. This battery (Technocel 1500 maH) lasts me 7-10 days with light to moderate use. I don't notice any difference in weight from my phone's original battery. I love the color! It's not the exact color shown on Amazon.com-online it looks like a pale turquoise, but in real life its a nice royal blue. It is completely transparent, like the picture and looks really cool. I personally love the vibration feature, because I attend college-during classes and during movies I turn my phone to silent so if someone calls I'll know, but it won't ring out loud. It vibrates hard too-even if it's in my purse, I know when a call is coming in, the whole purse starts jiggling. I use both the plug in charger my phone came with and the car charger made by Nokia, they both work fine with this battery. I've had this battery for a few months now with no problems. Pros - longer battery life, vibrating feature, attractive color choices, slim size. Cons - None that I can think of. (well, Amazon could try to get a more accurate color picture, lol) Overall - If you want a great all around battery and a little extra style for your phone, get this battery!! You'll never interupt another movie or class again with its good vibrations!

Review: The original battery's life time is dropping fast so I got this one. The vibrating feature is great. Haven't really test the capacity but the battery level is definitely dropping much slowly. The clear blue casing doesn't look that great on the black phone, though.

Review: The picture of this battery does it no justice. I was a bit concerned about the color when i bought it, but not anymore! it looks great and isn't as sky blue as it looks. it is much darker and makes a nice contrast with the black phone you probably have! and its a great battery too! adds that elusive virba alert to your nokia phone which dumbly came missing!
