Summary: Not bad for first case
Review: This is the first Kyocera 6035 leather case available - and it's not bad, but there's certainly room for improvement. The side elastic is positioned in a way that still gives you access to the hands-free attachment port. However, I was mislead by the review editor's comment about the included "belt strap". I was hoping this was more of a belt loop - allowing the case to slip onto a belt without use of the swivel belt clip (which I've found easily get snapped off.) So, my wish for an improvement to this product is a belt loop.

Summary: Doesn't Stand Up To Short-Term Use
Review: This leather case is open in the front and does an excellent job of allowing the user access to all of the phones functions including space for:

1) the infrared port
2) power/charger outlet
3) Up/Down Control
4) Keypad (of course)
5) Display (of course)
6) synchronization port

However, don't plan on synching your phone in the cradle with this case on -- as it won't fit. This is a bit annoying as the cradle is the component that came with the phone and I was not expecting to need to buy additional components.

The belt clip works well and it is very easy to slip the phone in and out. The clip has a funnel shape that guides the phone piece into the clip very nicely -- even for someone like myself who is not all that coordinated... ;-)

However, as I was a previous user of the Motorolla StarTac (much smaller) phone, I find that I am constantly bumping into things with the phone on this clip. You will want to make sure that you set up the phone to do key locking (so that you don't accidently dial someone or as I did somehow - add several blank records to my Address Book.)

In the end, it comes down to three choices: 1) A leather pouch that requires you to open and take the phone out, 2) carry the phone with you by hand, or 3) this case. Option 3 definitely is the best.

(A fourth option is coming where there will be a leather planner which has a phone holder, but there is no date associated with it that I can find from Kyocera.)
