Rating: Summary: GREAT BELT CLIP KEEPS PHONE COMPACT Review: I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! THE CLIP IS SO SLIM LINE THAT THE PHONE CAN STILL FIT IN MY POCKET. THE ONLY SMALL PROBLEM IS THE CLIP DOES SLIP OFF THE INSIDE OF MY POCKET. I WENT TO WAL-MART BOUGHT A LITTLE VELCRO DOT AND PUT IT ON THE CASE AND NOW WHEN IT IS IN MY POCKET THE LITTLE HOOKS KEEP IT FROM COMING OUT. I LOVE THIS CLIP NOW THAT THE VELCRO IS THERE.

Rating: Summary: Works well for what it does. Review: It's great for use in your car, and less great on your belt...The mobile holder comprises two parts, the "belt clip" and the "base" (not shown by Amazon). You replace the battery cover that came with your phone, with the belt clip as illustrated above. You then attach the base to, for example, the dash of your car (4 screws are provided, you could also use double-sided foam tape). When you're in your car, you take the phone off your belt and slide the clip through the slot in the base. The clip holds the phone quite well to the base. It won't fly off unintentionally while driving, yet is easy to clip in/take out as desired. But the clip is a bit too short and slippery to hold it securely to your belt. It's not unworkable, but it is less stable than, say, Body Glove's swivel clip. This holder inexpensviely gives you a secure, unintrusive place to put your phone in your car, while also providing a belt clip. So there's a trade-off between it's utility in your car and on your belt.
Rating: Summary: but it works great in a briefcase or purse... Review: So maybe the clip isn't practical for usage on a belt, but it works great to keep it in place in a handbag or briefcase... Before attaching the clip, my phone was forever drifting to the bottom of the bag. Now, that isn't a problem..
Rating: Summary: Not designed for other than hooking onto a stationary object Review: The "hinge" of the clip is too low on the phone to allow one to clip it into a pocket, purse, etc. without the risk of falling out (i.e., the top of the phone becomes too exposed). I have an Ericsson phone that has a hinge closer to the top of the phone that worked perfectly. This one doesn't. I agree with everyone else that the clip is too short for a belt. That leaves as the only practical use to hook it onto a stationary object - such as the mobile phone holder in the car. I use the holder that I used with my Ericsson phone and it works well.

Rating: Summary: Too Short Review: The belt clip made for the Nokia 8260 is practical when it comes to keeping the phone on you vs. the floor, however, the clip is too short and cannot even make around an average belt like most phone clips (aftermarket or otherwise) do. Therefore, you cannot place it on your belt without worrying that you may still drop the phone.
Rating: Summary: Nice Idea needs modification Review: This style clip for the 8260 is really the only clip that Nokia themselves make. The clip needs to have the ablility to clip better and grip. I found that while it stays on the belt you have to be carefull not to let the phone drop.
