Summary: Great Speaker Phone for StarTAC
Review: This is an excellent speaker phone kit for the Motorola StarTAC phones and it will provide power to the phone at your desk or in your car. It IS NOT a 2-port battery charging device. It charges your battery that is attached to your phone, but doesn't provide any way of recharging a separate battery. There is an included clip-on microphone which you can use in noisy environments if the built-in microphone picks up too much ambient noise. You can leave the desktop base at your desk and leave the car mounting kit in the car, then you just take the speaker and phone with you to plug in at either location.

Review: Very good system as a whole. It is well designed and has flexible use, but the speaker volume does not go high enough for me.

Review: WHAT??? That's what you'll be saying more than anything else if you buy this item. You have to shout to be heard, and the frustration that this product generates negates any safety benefit gained from using hands-free. My advice: stay away and wait for the next generation models.
