Summary: These do not work
Review: I have tried the CCB Navigator and now this product. Neother works. I took both to the cellular phone dealer (who does not sell these products because they don't work). They told me that the aftermarket products are not very reliable and after 2 tries at the CCB product and 1 try at this, I agree. I'm off to trade this product for an earpiece. Too bad. I wished it worked.

Summary: A Business Traveler
Review: I was amazed with the product quality and clarity. I have had 2 cars with traditional hands free systems and the quality this system is every bit as good.

The system has worked well when traveling and using rental cars.

The speaker and microphone sensitivity is very good. If you have problems with the speaker and microphone, you can plug your own in.

The holders are a bit cumbersome however, having tested the plug-in chargers, this system is better.

Time will tell on the reliability and durability.

Summary: I was Wrong
Review: I wrote the first review, criticizing the speaker volume. The problem was that my cell phone volume was set to lowest. The speaker volume on the hands-free system is tied to the phone's so that all one has to do is adjust the phone's volume setting with the hands-free speaker system to taste.

It turns out that I like the system quite a lot. I am getting a second one for my vehicle and leaving the other on my desk.

Summary: Great inexpensive way to get hands free capability!
Review: I've had this unit for almost a year and wouldn't live without it. Even with the mic on the driver's visor, the person on the other end can hear the passengers clearly from the front or back seat. It comes out of the car quickly and easily. I thought I wouldn't use the desk unit and it turns out to also be helpful for those long weekend long distance calls to use up those essentially free minutes. I wish I could buy a second speaker portion of the system so that I could leave one in the car and the other on my desk.

I came back to this site to send a link to someone I met with at lunch and was very surprised to see any negative comments.

Summary: Versatile Handsfree is a great deal!
Review: The description here at Amazon is wrong...this is not a charger, but the best handsfree speakerphone value out there. We use it both for a Motorola StarTac and a Timeport and it provides excellent sound quality in the car, office, home or hotel. It also rapid charges the battery. We don't think about charging the phone anymore, it always is charged. We liked that it comes with a vehicle mounting kit, external microphone for the car and a desktop docking station. It goes where you go. After returning 5 other makes of speakerphones and handsfree, this is a keeper! It even works in my husbands jeep SUV. Most products bump into his gear shift. This one doesn't.

Summary: A very good buy
Review: The performance and thq quality of this product amazed me. The built in microphone is very sensitive and can catch even normal conversation from quite a distance. The speaker quality is quite okay.
Thinking of inconveniences, its a wee bit clumsy having to hang the phone to the car hook and plug the cable in and also when taking the phone out.
It could've been better if it came with a phone holder like one of those plug-in chargers.

Summary: I was Wrong
Review: This is an excellent speaker phone kit for the Motorola StarTAC phones and it will provide power to the phone at your desk or in your car. It IS NOT a 2-port battery charging device. It charges your battery that is attached to your phone, but doesn't provide any way of recharging a separate battery. There is an included clip-on microphone which you can use in noisy environments if the built-in microphone picks up too much ambient noise. You can leave the desktop base at your desk and leave the car mounting kit in the car, then you just take the speaker and phone with you to plug in at either location.
