Summary: misterious battery charger
Review: I bought an average SprintPCS cell phone (the Samsung SCH-3500). Instead of coming with a travel charger (much more practical) it came with a "Desktop charger." This charger misteriously has two slots (who decides to charge two batteries at the same time? who HAS two batteries??). Anyway, even setting the phone up to charge is awkward, since you have to apply considerable pressure on the unit in order for it to "stick" to the charger. After that, you have either a red light, or a flashing orange light. No explanation on what these mean, nothing. A very misterious device, indeed.

Summary: It works, but it's nothing special.
Review: Like others, I got the desktop charger with my sprint pcs phone. The main problems I have with it are stability. It takes alot for me to actually get the phone to slot in right, and then when I take it out it seems I have to force it. I am worried sometimes that I might break it. It does its job though, but for those of you wanting a desktop charger, I say stick with the car charger.

Summary: Okay, but the car charger is better
Review: My phone came with this charger, and I also bought the cigarette lighter charger. My advice- unless you have two batteries, get the car charger.

Summary: Good charger for home
Review: This charger came with my phone. I keep it plugged in next to my back door so when I come home I simply pop the phone in the charger and it's always fully charged when I need it. The lights are a bit confusing, as the other person said. The red light means it's charging and the green light means it's done charging. That's not confusing, it's common sense. I find it hard to believe the other person was stumped by this, tho it does appear they never saw the green light since only the red and flashing yellow were mentioned. The flashing yellow light has me stummped also, tho the only times I've noticed it I also notice the phone doesn't seem to be properly seated in the charger.

Unlike the other reviewer, I have no problem seating the phone in the charger. Well, usually I don't (see above comment about the flashing yellow light). I even toss this in my suitcase when I travel to have it available when I need it.

Overall I see nothing wrong with this charger except that the directions should include an explanation of the lights.

Summary: Good Charger
Review: This is a great charger. Each day I place my phone on the cradle and the next morning its ready to go. If I'm going out of town, I take the EXTRA BATTERY I keep in the sceond slot along with me. This is the only charger you need if you have an extra battery.
