Summary: More incompatible phones!
Review: After several e-mails and phone calls to both Andrew and Ericsson, Tech Support at Ericsson told me that my phone (Model A1228 and "several other Ericsson models") were not designed or manufactured to connect with an external antenna, and that these phones will not accept *any* adapter cable at all. They simply cannot be attached to an external antenna by any means. A way to tell about a particular phone is to pop off the grommet where the antenna might attach. If there is no male connector (a metal prong), then it may not take an external antenna. Check with the manufacturer of your phone before buying this product!The description of this item being "universally compatible" and compatible with "All Phones" is quite inaccurate and very misleading.

Summary: No Adapter for StarTAC Phones
Review: Don't waste your money on this antenna if you have a StarTAC phone. Despite claim that a universal adapter exists, good luck finding one. Have been from Radio Shack to Bobby Allison Wireless to US Cellular and no one had an adaptor. Even called Andrew Wireless and was sent the wrong part for $12 and never got return calls to find out if they sold the correct adapter.

Review: Don't waste your money on this antenna if you have a StarTAC phone. Despite claim that a universal adapter exists, good luck finding one. Even called Andrew Wireless and was sent the wrong part for $12 and never got return calls to find out if they sold the correct adapter.

Review: I bought the antenna to work with my Nokia phone and like everybody I ran into problems finding an adaptor. I went on the ANDREW web site and ordered one of the cataloges. I contacted the service representative who referred me to Hutton distributors at (800)442-3811. They were very nice and it was no problem getting an adaptor. The unit works well as I have a long drive to work through the Sierra Nevada foothills and I get good reception in places that were impossible before.

The claim that it will fit all phones is certainly misleading. Maybe they could also offer the adapters here at Amazon.com. I would not recomment this item to anyone unless you first get the cable adapter for your particular cell phone and then order the antenna.

Review: I live in a area where they are a lot of mountains that blocks the reception of my phone; but since I got the Magnet Mount Antenna; I am able to use my phone!! I love this and I would tell anyone to buy it!

Summary: DOES NOT WORK WITH ALL PHONES!!!
Review: It says it works with all phones, but it dosn't!! In fact it dosen't even fit any of my friends phones! I have a "V series 2397 motorola". I've not been able to find the correct adapter anywhere on the web or in town. I've tried everything, I'm almost going to give up on this issue. - Micxz
