Description:
Compatible with Nextel Condor series cell phones, the iBoard was developed by Motorola and the Think Outside company: the manufacturer of the Stowaway portable keyboard that's popularly used with PDAs. The iBoard is similar to the Stowaway. It's a full-size QWERTY keyboard with the same feel and response as a regular computer keyboard, except that it folds up to easily fit into your pocket or purse: measuring 13.8 x 5.1 x 0.44 inches unfolded, and only 3.6 x 5.1 x 0.8 when closed. It weighs only 7.9 ounces. The durable iBoard features an ergonomic design and function keys that you can use to activate various menus on your phone, such as Phonebook, Datebook, Messages, JAVA, Browser/Net, VoiceNotes, and volume control. It also works as its own docking station. Just a small amount of power from your phone is used to operate the keyboard, and it can also be set up to charge your phone while you work. The iBoard is compatible with any phone application that supports text input, and all the software needed for operation comes pre-installed.
