Summary: love my trac fone
Review: I bought this product last year. And have been very happy with my trac fone.. I just bought the motorola v120t since I like that you can record a voice name, so I don't have to dial anymore..But my mother does a lot of driving and wanted to make sure incase of any accidents that she could call for help.. So I gave her my older phone..So I highly recommend this phone. Nice not to have a monthly cell phone bill. And the price of the cards have come down.. I checked area plans and for where I live and call this had the best calling area . Other plans didn't quite cover the area that I travel and use the phone for.. Trying to talk my brother into this plan now.

Summary: like no contract/dislike time constraints
Review: I have 2 tracfones for emergencies it's great not having an outrageous bill every month for calls not used. But be aware that if if you make a wrong call, it deducts units after 15 seconds and while it does roll over , if you don't buy a new card by the "due date" you have to start all over with activation(which is a real treat by itself- hint- call on the phone and pretend you can't get online )

Summary: Save With Tracfone
Review: I like tracfone for the savigs and good signal I get all over the country. It's best for people who only use 50 or less minutes per month. I keep my phone active and charged with plenty of airtime for about $9 a month. How can you beat that? I can send referrals to new users that are good for 100 free minutes and promo codes for other tracfone bonuses.Just e-mail me at scottyjn@yahoo.com.

Review: I love the idea of the prepaid wireless, as I only need the phone for emergencies. However, I have had a great deal of trouble with redeeming the minutes after I buy them. Be prepared to code in long series of numbers that don't always get accepted the first time. If you need to call Tracfone, be prepared for at least a 20 minute wait. Once you get to a live person, they are always helpful and will even add units for your trouble. Great when working, though.

Summary: price is right
Review: I only have the phone for emergencys so going the pre paid route is great for me. I usually buy a year at a time and the unused minutes roll over. Cheap way to go.

Summary: Tracfone prepaid wireless
Review: The 60 minute card is great if you plan on using the phone a lot. However, the one year card is the way to go if you only need a cell phone for emergencies or occasional use. I use my phone as a back up plan for long road trips. I travel from St Louis to Kansas City or Denver a lot, and the 1 year card allows me to have access to a cell phone in the event of a car problem for less than 8 dollars a month. This is considerably cheaper than other pay as you go wireless plans such as ATT's GoPhone, or T-Mobiles new plan. The downside is that the card only allows 150 minutes per year while competing plans offer 150 minutes in only a month. The minutes can be upped to 250 a year if you are a new customer because Tracfone gives out 100 minutes free to customers who are referred by current Tracfone customers such as myself. Give me an e-mail anytime at doctorjohnamus@hotmail.com and I will e-mail you the link to receive 100 free minutes. There is nothing to lose and we both get free minutes. e-mail me with any questions, thanks!

Summary: Exactly what I need
Review: The idea of having to undergo a credit check just to have a cell phone (and have the inquiry count against my credit!) always gave me the screaming hershey squirts. But with this prepaid plan I have exactly what I need: an emergency phone ready to go when something happens. In fact, I had the opportunity to use it the other day in my CAR ACCIDENT (no, I wasn't on the phone, but the JERK who rear-ended me WAS!!!)

Just refilled my minutes with my new 60 minute card plus a free 20 minutes from Tracfone "just because", and had no problems whatsoever. Cycled the battery through 4 times, letting it fully discharge each time before recharging, and am perfectly happy with my standby time. Following the directions really DOES make a difference.

4 stars because the phone itself could have better sound quality, but otherwise I am a satisfied customer, and am thinking of getting another!

Highly recommended.

Review: TracFone is great. No bills! You pay as you go! If you can't afford to put minutes on or pay a bill, no worries. You have time!
