Summary: Garbage
Review: ALL people that I talk to with the Jabra can barely understand me and comment that there is too much background noise. This is in direct comparison (same driving areas, same T720 phone) to a Motorola headset I had been using that wasn't great, but didn't give me the same negative reviews from people that I call. The main difference between the 2 units I have used is that Motorola had the mic in the cord rather than in the earpiece like the Jabra.This unit is essentially useless due to the poor sound quality. Of course, the main source of background noise is from being in a moving car (German, not too loud inside), but where do they expect the headset is going to get its primary use? Also, I find that the eargels are uncomfortable after a few minutes (no matter what size)...

Summary: like the winder, but poor sound quality
Review: Con: I am disappointed in the poor sound quality of this device. Peoples voices are muffled and hard to discern. It sounds as though everyone is talking with a hand over their mouth on my end, but I have had no complaints about how I sound on the other end. Maybe the mic is good and the speaker bad, or maybe I've just got a defective product.
Pro: As the winder goes, I like it a lot. It is small and lets you put the whole thing in your pocket without tangle. This winder works like a miniblind. You pull both ends of the cord out a tad, then it retracts. I've never had a problem operating it.
This comes as a disappointment as I had a good experience with my last and similar jabra earbud - sounded good, and fit well - much better than my 'body glove' (too big for my ear, fell out constantly, and hurt) or my 'plantronics' (would always fall out, impossible to put in in time to answer a call).

Summary: Jabra EarSet WindUP
Review: I found this item to be disappointing.
The locking device on the wind up failed to lock.
Jabra replaced the item after I sent my original back to them. It locked maybe 3 times.
I can honestly say I was not "too rough" on the product.
I was particularly careful with the second one.
The sound is OK and I am comfortable using it.
The selling point of the wind up feature was not worth the cost. Take your chances the Amazon.com price is much better than the $30 I paid for it.
Who knows? I may try again!

Summary: Good but fragile
Review: I have now had two of these devices. I love the way that they fit in my ear and the convenience and compactness. They also sound good, both receiving and transmitting. The problem is that something happened in the plug of both units after a few months that rendered them useless. I was not rough on them either.

Summary: I loved it, but....
Review: I have owned 4 of these. Well, I actually owned an EarBoom by Jabra first. When it died (after about 6 or 9 months), I bought this little baby. My husband loved it so much he got one too. Mine died after a month, so I took it back and had it replaced. Then his died, and we had it replaced. Then my replacement died, and his did too. In all cases, the cause of failure was the join between the wire and the set itself. The flex point ruptures eventually, and then the wires are exposed and quickly break, resulting in a loss of either microphone or speaker function, eventually. This is very frustrating. Luckily, they have an excellent warranty, and the guys at RadioShack have been great about it.
On the other hand, this is a great product. The earGel can be a little uncomfortable at first, but after you use it for a week or so, you start to forget you're wearing it. The winder is a wonder, although a touch finicky, but if you treat it with respect and make a habit of always fully extending it (gently)before retracting it, you shouldn't have any problems. I am currently going through the agony of either replacing it again (this time buying it again since I've dithered long enough to slip out of warranty) or trying a new one. I already have a big enough collection of (sometimes expensive) headsets that didn't work for me.
Luckily the price has come down considerably to match the quality, although personally I would have preferred the opposite.

Summary: Good idea, but...
Review: I like the idea of a windup headset, but it wasn't executed particularly well... The winder works when being extended, but 4 out of 5 times i have to fiddle with it to retract. I use my headset when in the car and it is a bit of a pain to try and drive and fiddle with the mechanism at the same time, so i usually just leave it extended until i find a time or place to rewind it. This kinda defeats the purpose of the winder in not have loose wires running around. The microphone seems to pickup alot of background noise as well. Overall i'd say its "OK" as signified by the 3 stars most have been giving it...

Summary: Nice product, but not as good as older models
Review: I love the wind-up cord feature of this model, but the sound quality doesn't come close to the older model I have from a few years ago. I did "sound" tests with my friends, and the sound quality of my older EarBud is so much better than this new one. Maybe the quality of the manufacturing is not as good, or maybe I should return this one and try another one. It is a nice little unit though if you couldn't compare the quality of the two with each other.

Summary: Great Sound and comfort
Review: I really like this unit. The sound is great and the person who I call can hear me well. The wind up takes some getting used to but works just fine. Earpiece is very comfortable. Highly Recommend.

Summary: OK, if you have the patience for it
Review: I used this ear piece for about 3 months feeling pretty satisfied. I never had complaints about sound quality, and if fact I could hear better using it than without. It's true that no matter what size, the ear gel become uncomfortable after a while. And if you use your cell phone as your primary phone like I do, that's a big concern. Also, the winder on this thing is complete GARBAGE. I can't tell you how many times it would not wind up or unwind...the cord got tangled, and finally the whole thing just stopped working. I bought this to replace the other Jabra I had that didn't have the winder because I hated the cord getting caught on everything...now I don't like either of them. Guess I'm back to trying to find another one...
