Rating: Summary: Not comfortable, inconvenient Review: The gel inserts on the Jabra is quite uncomfortable, at least for me. It's a bit hard to make the earbud stay in my ear, and forget about jogging wearing this. Also the insert comes off very easily, and if a friend wants to borrow it and has different size of ears, you need to find the other sizes of the insert. Sound quality is mediocre, as callees often complain about wind noise from my end. I'm not happy with these.
Rating: Summary: Looks good, but that's it!!! Review: The Jabra EarBroom has become real popular...I had a plantronics headset with my previous phone, but since I changed phones and needed a headset with a 2.5mm jack I thought I'd try the EarBoom.I travel often and found that the ear peices really didn't fit snug and stay in my ear. When I talk to someone, they can hear much more background noise while I'm driving than you could on my Plantronics headset. The voice quality from the ear peice is okay, but as I mentioned it feels like it's always about to fall out. If you're in a quiet room, the sound quality from my voice mic still isn't very good. I'll be heading to the plantronics site, their quality is good, but the ear pieces fell off of my headset frequently.....at least people could hear me and I could hear them clearly though.
Rating: Summary: quite good, but short of GREAT Review: the main problem i have with this earset is that people can have a hard time hearing you if you speak softly, since the mic is still too far from your mouth. if you speak at normal volume, things are good. but why not extend the boom all the way to the mouth? i see no need to have the shortest boom in the industry if it sacrafices quality. just another argument to have the mic at your mouth. form should follow function. one other gripe is that the ear gel can be fatiguing to my ear when wearing for a long time. however, this depends on the person. otherwise, it's comfortable and really stays secure. on the positive side, the hearing quality is quite good. the gel does a great job of securing the earpiece, which most standard designs cannot do. being able to use it on either ear is nice. and the tie clip is a useful touch.
Rating: Summary: Works okay . . . if you don't mind shouting. Review: This device fits snugly in the ear, and I can hear the party at the other end very clearly. Problem is, others can't hear me unless I shout. Very frustrating! In fact, it's so annoying that I'm returning mine.
Rating: Summary: Sounds great but a lil' big on the geek factor Review: This headset works great. Has very good microphone and earphone sound quality. The gel earphone seals out the noise pretty good, after you learn how to stick it in your ear. Because of the unique ear gel shape it does take a couple extra seconds to get it properly positioned. But once it's in there, it's fairly comfy. Boom mic picks up speech pretty good without most other ambient noise. However the boom sticking out of your ear will give you a slight geek factor. But the bottom line is that this Jabra EarBoom does what its supposed to do. I also use this universal plug unit in my cordless phone at home.
Rating: Summary: brand name hands-free??? Review: this is a nice hand-free kit and works well compared to my $1 flea market versions. but you pay the price. the ear piece is pretty comfortable and makes the speaker louder making it great for noisier areas. overall a good product, but a little pricey.
Rating: Summary: Not Compatible w/ Sprint Touchpoint 1100 Review: This product's plug fits in the headset jack of the Sprint Touchpoint 1100 phone, but it disables the phone's keyboard and immediately dials my voicemail as soon as I plug it in to the jack. It also drops any in-progress calls when you plug it in. Frankly, I couldn't figure out how to make or receive calls with the EarBoom plugged into my phone at all. I called Sprint and they said the EarBoom is simply not compatible with the TouchPoint 1100.
Rating: Summary: It [stinks]...The sound is muddy... Review: What a waste of money...A great idea, but you can't hear from the ear gel. It Seems to block part of the sound, so you have to turn your phone on max to hear anything. I use many different, up-to-date cell phones, and this thing [stinks]. If you buy it you'll be sorry.
