Review: Just got it a few days ago, works great w/ my cell and my home cordless.While I used it, nobody knew I had it until I told them. So it must sound good and you can't beat the price w/ no shipping costs!!

Review: Pro- This product works great in the car and on foot. It is pretty good sound quality as well.Con- I have already lost two Jabra Earl gels. They fall off the earset far to easily. They just seem to slip off. Overall- It's worth the price because it so practical with the microphone and speaker in the earset!!

Review: So I bought this thing based on the Amazon reviews and saved a bundle over the local retail cost (yeah Amazon!), but that's not why I'm writing this review.
I'd like to talk about the performance and comfort of the Earboom. The eargel thingies are designed quite well, of the three different sizes for each ear you're bound to find one that fits very comfortably. Turns out I couldn't find any that fit my right ear comfortably for extended periods of use but found a perfect fit in my mate on the other side. My wife had the exact opposite experience - hopefully our daughter will inherit more symmetrical ears! I hate jogging so can't comment on the fit during that activity but can say the gels fit suprising well in the folds of your ear and the boom is quite secure when installed. I'd have to imagine it'd take a big hit to knock it loose once in place.
Sound quality from the earbud is decent, but I feel the Earboom lacks some fidelity, especially the higher frequencies. Normally this is not a problem, but it can sometimes make the person you're talking to sound like Isaac Hayes. The speaker is plently loud and the lack of high frequencies allows you to tune into the tonal range where us humans tend to converse, without having the voices washed over with background noise. The gels block an appropriate amount of external sounds allowing you to concentrate on the discussion at hand without impeding your ability to hear say an ambulance while driving. There is a small slot on the gels that funnels some external noise to your drum, while the rest of the gel fits snug to the ear blocking out other stray noise paths.
I've asked people how I sound and thus far the feedback has been positive, my voice comes through loud and clear despite the boom's apparent lack of length, reinforcing my belief that size DOESN'T matter. In fact, I have found the mic to be very sensitive to even small sounds. Forget talking on the phone and subtly typing on the keyboard our mouse click surfing - they'll hear every click. Another example, I was in my house and the person on the other end could hear the kids playing in the pool 40 feet away with the house windows closed!! Yes, the mic is that sensitive. Even while driving they could hear when I shifted gears. Not that it's obtrusive to the other person on the phone, it's just good to be aware they can hear it all.
What more to say about such a simple device. Form Fit and Function are all there and I would recommend this product. In fact, I just ordered another - it makes a great gift!

Summary: Doesn't work with some (all?) Nokia phones
Review: Some or perhaps all Nokias use a different incompatible
2.5m jack. I didn't realize this until I bought this unit,
which actually bears a sticker on the package saying it doesn't
work with Nokia phones. If you have a Nokia, I believe the
correct unit is: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000059ZSL/ Beware the compatibility claim above that says it works with
all phones! Close to all, but not all. :-)

Summary: ear piece is strange
Review: Sound quality is good and it has the boom mic, so people can see that you have a phone, not some little thing on the cord and you look like you are talking to you self. Only problem is the ear piece is wierd and doesn't fit quite right.

Summary: Worth the $10 I paid, but not fantastic
Review: The best thing about the Jabra line is that their earpieces STAY IN PLACE so much better than the clip-over-your-ear style headsets or plain earbuds. This product is no exception, and it's perfectly comfortable. I was, however, expecting somewhat better voice transmission quality (I tested it by calling my own voice mail and having a friend call me using my own cell phone). It's adequate, but somewhat muffled. I've had clearer voice transmission from my end on a Plantronics headset that cost about $25. Since I got it for $10 and no shipping on clearance, I have no complaints - the mouthpiece is nice and small and so it's easy to stuff the whole thing in a pocket.

Summary: Not comfortable, inconvenient
Review: The gel inserts on the Jabra is quite uncomfortable, at least for me. It's a bit hard to make the earbud stay in my ear, and forget about jogging wearing this. Also the insert comes off very easily, and if a friend wants to borrow it and has different size of ears, you need to find the other sizes of the insert. Sound quality is mediocre, as callees often complain about wind noise from my end. I'm not happy with these.
