Summary: My experience was positive (mostly)
Review: I find the earpiece comfortable. I suspect that this is a very individual preference. Keep in mind that you can switch ears by replacing the gels but you'll probably never do that.

My first earbud broke after a few weeks. Jabra replaced it in a few days with no hassle. They seem to have good customer service and can be contacted via e-mail. The wind cover (you know, the fuzzy thing on the end of the mic?) kept slipping off and I nearly lost it. A drop of glue fixed the problem. I've been using it for over a year and have had no other problems. The audio quality is good even in a convertible with the top down on the interstate.

Summary: Comfortable and easy...
Review: I have been experimenting with several handsfree devices in the last month as we are rolling out a company wide handsfree policy. We have experimented with speaker phones and remotely located microphones, but the best sound quality (both send and receive) has come from the Jabra Earboom. It is safe to use as well since it can be put in your ear with one hand. Like most people I don't wear it non-stop in the car. I usually set it on the passanger seat and when the phone rings, I can pick it up and place it in my ear with one hand. According to people I've talked to, the audio quality is great and it's really easy to hear on my end as well. It is comfortable and has different size ear gels with the unit.

Summary: Person I'm talking to can't hear me
Review: I have no problems with how the unit feels and fits into my ear -- it's unobtrusive and light. However, I constantly get complaints from whoever I'm talking to on the phone that my voice is too quiet. I have to speak up louder than normal and cup my hand around the back of the microphone in order to produce an acceptable volume, which kind of defeats the purpose of the headset. The problem seems to be that the boom is too short leaving the microphone too far from and to the side of the mouth.

Summary: Finally a real good HandsFree-Set
Review: I have to admit that I am a phone junkie since about 8 years. Friends call me from Switzerland to get advise on how their cell phone works. When I bought my current cell phone it came with a Jabra EarBoom Headset. Well, I was not so sure if I should really use it, but hey, what the heck, a try can't hurt. This try was a revolution for me. The very first headset ever that was featherlight, did not mess up my hair, did not distract my view (eg. in the car), did not hang around on my chest, picking up the noise of banging against my pecs whenever I did the slightest move. I drive with this headset on in my convertible and even though the top is down, the engine is roaring and the wind blows around me... I can hear my party, my party can hear me and that thing is like welded into my ear... Even though it puts the sound directly into your ear you can still hear approaching emergency vehicles. This thing is really great. My partner gave me a bluetooth headset as a present. Even though it is about 10 times as expensive than the Jabra EarBoom, I will not change and the bluetooth rots in my gadget cabinet. Buy it. I got it for free, but I would be ready, willing, and (thank you AMEX) able to pay a lot of money for it!

Summary: Made the comparisons
Review: I have tried 9 different varieties of HF cellular devices. I mean tried, not "tried on". Most of these products now reside in my desk drawer or garbage can. The brands I have tried include Motorola, Jabra, Plantronics, generic types, Coby, Ear Glove (not sure if the name is correct) among others. The types of HF devices include head sets, over the ear, ear buds, hands free CLA units and Jabra products. I have found the Jabra products (I currently use an ear boom with winder) to fit my exacting needs and wants the best. WIth my first Jabra product it took me several weeks to "pop" the gel piece in properly, and now I do it without thinking. With the cord winder attachment, which I clip to the antenna of my StarTac or Motorola V60, I am no longer untangling cords and have one simple, easy to carry unit. The Jabra ear boom winder is not perfect, but when I "made the comparisons" this product is the best

Summary: Love Jabra, but not this product (mic doesn't pick up)
Review: I have used a Jabra earset on my nokia 5100 for years and love it. By far the best headset I've tried. So I expected similar quality when I bought the earboom for my home phone (with a 2.5mm jack). The sound quality is excellent and the ear gels work great, but people can't hear unless I yell. I've tried taking off the foam, twisting the mic closer to/further from my mouth, up and down and no luck. This is especially disappointing because I am indoors in a quiet room and people can't hear. If I had thought to keep the packaging it would be on its way back right now. But my Jabra earset for my 5100 (with built in adapter) works great.

Summary: Good sound, ear fit iffy
Review: I like the sound in the ear and the people with whom I talk say it is very clear as well. The only potential problem is that the ear pieces are a bit weird and don't quite fit the ear well. You need to twist it in a certain way that I haven't quite got down yet, but I keep trying the different sizes and it's getting better.

Summary: Wonderful
Review: I like this Jabra earboom so much that I have purchased 6 of these so far. And that is my biggest complaint, is their poor quality of workmanship. They work well but just don't last. Granted, I'm a road warrior and my earbooms probably go through more abuse than a casual user. The reason I keep buying them is the audio quality is fantastic and the fit within my ear is solid. I keep two spares on hand at all times so as soon as one fails I can throw it away and move on. At this price, I can afford it. Also, Jabra customer services is great. I lost the windscreen for the boom mic once and an email to them got me a set of windscreens in my mailbox, no charge.
