Rating: Summary: Nice, but far from being perfect Review: Bought this from Amazon with Sony Ericsson t610 for $50 (part of a promotion). It was very easy to setup a partnership with my old Nokia 3650. Battery life is excellent, though I turn it off when not is use. Sound quality was reasonably good, yet picks up static/movement noise when used while walking (inside or outside). So, noise cancellation of microphone is not good. A major annoyance was high volume even on the lowest setting when paired with a Nokia3650. It was too loud to me when using at most other settings. As the bluetooth device's volume level setting is shared with the phone's earpiece setting, when using the headset, I had to lower the volume all the way down. Had to increase the volume up on phone when not using the headset. Another problem (may be a defective hardware) I found was with bluetooth partnership. It could not reconnect to Nokia3650 after about 3-4days of non-use. Had to re-setup the partnership again. Thus one has to remember the steps or carry the quick setup guide when travelling. I cannot justify the $80 retail price for an average quality headset.
Rating: Summary: Smooth! Review: Cellphone give me headaches, I talk allot, this thing, sits in your ear, and when you do it right, it puts no pressure on any parts of you ear. one time i was talking with this girl in the handsfree in my bed, i talked for like3/4 hours, eventually i hung up, and forgot to take it off before i went to sleep, thats how comfy it is. anwyay, long story short, i wear this thing in my car, and at home, but not in public, its too futuristic and i think anybody standing next to me yakking away on this thing is a jerk, and i dont want to be a hypocrit ;)
battery life is great, as long as you don't leave it for long periods turned on, turn it off because else it will roam and waste battery
Rating: Summary: Jabra FreeSpeak 250 Review: Gosh, I really wanted to like this headset! The design with the electronics behind the ear is superb, and it's very comfortable to wear. Nevertheless, I was incredibly disappointed to find out that the connection between the headset and my Motorola V600 phone... just a few feet away in my pocket... was absolutely unacceptable. I know that Bluetooth is supposed to be a "line of sight" technology, but come on! It should work if the mobile device is in the user's pocket. I don't want to start wearing my phone on a belt clip holder just so that I can go wireless with my headset. It sort of defeats the purpose of being unteathered. I get business calls all day long on my cell phone, and I need a wireless headset that I can wear comfortably with acceptable quality. Unfortunately, this one doesn't work well for me.
Rating: Summary: Surprisingly good Review: Got it for free, had no expectations. Maybe that's not entirely true. I fell for the "free with phone" deal (which stuck me with a POS T610) because this headset sounded so good in theory. Well, it actually works pretty well. Range is limited to 30-36", though this may be a function of my mediocre phone. Three-button interface is appropriately simple for blind operation, and voice dialing works just dandy. However, it really should come with some sort of sock for the microphone opening as the slightest breeze renders you mute, according to parties on the other end. As delivered, this represents a significant limitation. Otherwise, neato keen.
Rating: Summary: Love It! Review: Have had the headset for my SE T610 for about 1 year now and have used it heavily. Works very well, especially as a hands-free while driving.
Rating: Summary: best thing since sliced bread Review: I absolutely love this earpiece. It is more comfortable to wear for extended periods than the wired earpiece that came with my phone. I also have experienced trouble with my phone losing the pairing, however I agree that it is more likely an issue with the phone than with the earpiece. I just have to re-pair the device and it works fine again. Also this gadget is great for being able to talk in restaurants and actually HEAR the person you are talking to. I can have conversations in busy, loud areas with no problem hearing the conversation from either party. Although it is easy to misplace (being that it is pretty small), I've got quite a story to share on how to find it. I was in the mall and had my earpiece hanging from the handle of my purse. The earpiece fell off while I was shopping and I did not notice it until about 10 minutes later (and on the other side of the mall). I began retracing my steps to attempt to find it, and while I was looking for it someone called me. When I answered the call, I noticed that the phone had picked up the earpiece (meaning it was within 30 feet of me!) - I found the earpiece (whew) and went on my way. Pretty cool, unplanned feature for locating the device when you're stupid enough to lose it like I did. :)
Rating: Summary: IT WASN'T WORKING WHEN I GOT IT Review: I bought Sony Eicsson T 610 mobile phone along with this Jabra Bluetooh.Iwas really suprised with the price of bluetooh. It was only $29.99 with Amazon.com. However, my bluetooh arrived defective : it's not even charging, and doesn't work at all! Moreover, my T-610 arrived unactivated. Today is 3-rd day I have it, and still it's just a good toy, I can't use it! Not to mention that my items were almost 2 weeks delayed! In addition to all said above, i am unable to return my Jabra Bluetooh, because on my online account it says "Shipping Soon".The fact is I was delivered 2 days ago. I never expected something like that from Amazon.com, I was a consistent custumer till now. Now I will think twise before buing something from them.
Rating: Summary: Jabra ROCK! Review: I bought this BT200 for my Nokia 3660...the reason being i'm fed-up with nokia's HDW-2...3hr talk time promised, but didn't come up to the promise.PERIOD
Then i was tempted to changed to the HDW-3(with 5 hrs talktime)..but it blew me off with the price...
Then bump into this so called renown Jabra for the PERFECT earpiece...it took me awhile to think about it...so i bought it...it was really great...i could talk through walls....it was even more than 10 meters that i had talked once...but one sad day...i bumped into my friend and it fell,it was making attitudes(getting soft on the volume, frequent dropped calls) to me after that...i went back to jabra...told them some grandpa&tales stories and they changed it for me(2nd headset)....but the second set was a failure...it was static all the way...dropped calls and it kept asking for my password...then i went again....got another one changed fer me again(3th headset).....this time everythings perfect except that its having high levels of static with my 3660....
Disappointed..i went back again(4th headset)...this time they gave me a PERFECT ONE....no Cons at all!
It took me to changed it 3 times before i got to the PERFECT one...so in total,i tested 4 headset fer JABRA.....
I gave a 5 star for the services that Jabra Personnel gave me...
And 5 stars for the last PERFECT Bluetooth headset they gave me....
Overall i'm satisfied...No battery problems fer me....i charge it everyday....Sound quality is V.GOOD,rare static case, good reception fer my voice fer the other party to hear...and you can wear it and forget about it!Till i nearly wore it in my helmet!
Thanks Jabra!I love it!Juz improve on the software/battery and it will work WONDERS as a PERFECT BLUETOOTH HEADSET EVER!!
Rating: Summary: Not As Good As Claimed Review: I bought this with the Motorola V600 flip phone.
Bad Comments First; Doesn't work to 30 feet as claimed in Ads.
I am lucky to get 3 feet before static. If I have phone on belt and headset in ear = STATIC. Line of sight as in my truck and 3 feet away is OK. If Bluetooth head set is active, and incoming call, phone doesn't ring at phone, only rings at headset which must be in ear to hear it = Many lost calls. Takes time to link up. If you get 15 t0 30 feet away, Bluetooth connection is lost and you have to relink it to phone. Too many aggrivating nuancices to list.
The good comments; Unit does fit in ear well and comfortable.
When used at short distances and at mostly line of sight it performs well and is better than a wired ear bud. If you can stand all the shortcomings that this product (like so many High Tech products seem to develop after you buy them) has, then it may be better than nothing. Good luck.
Rating: Summary: Highly recommended Review: I got this for my 3650, and I absolutely love it. The voice-dial function works great. Now let's be honest, you buy an item like this for 2 reasons A) It is a really neat gadget and B) It looks like a really neat gadget. The Jabra works great and looks great. It is fun to use, very comfortable, durable, and draws a lot of interested comments. I got it because it is neat. I continue to use it because it is very convenient and easy to use. If you have a 3650, it is probably because you enjoy gadgets just like this. It is a terrific accoutrement for this phone.
