Rating: Summary: Does the job Review: All of items worked for me. The car charger is not as nice as the one you can get at the Sprint store but it still does the job. The earbud is OK for being a basic earbud. The case fits fine and I can get to all of the buttons.
Rating: Summary: Acceptable because of Amazon, but could be better. Review: Amazon makes swallowing the pill of buying this accessory kit a little easier. They charge a reasonable price for their accessories, which is a lot more than can be said for Sprint, Radio Shack, and the other accessory sellers. However, that's where the good part of this essentially ends.
All these parts are the cheapest plastic. Why do these companies not include some basic accessories with these phones!?!? After all, we are paying $300 for the phone. These parts do cost them about 10 cents a piece in China. The fact that they make you decide whether you're willing to part with $20 or $30 in order to have minimal accessories is greed to an EXTREME!! And it's bad business because customers will not come back to you when you nickel and dime them this way.
The headset is ok in terms of quality. The problem I have with it is that it doesn't hold well in the ear. The moutpiece is very difficult to position where it can be spoken into without you holding it to you mouth. Isn't this thing called a "handsfree" device?
Instead, try the handsfree devices made by Jabra. They have molded plastic earpeices that fit like a glove. They also have models with the mic perfectly pointed out over the mouth area, so NO HOLDING! :) The Jabra devices rock when it comes to this, they are worth a little extra money.
The car charger is fine, it's just a cheapo charger but it does the trick.
I'm not too fond of the phone case, it doesn't have a good clip. Truly you're going to want to buy the swivel holder anyway.
So, if you really need the car charger and you don't mind this style of hands free device, this isn't a bad deal. Thanks Amazon! If you're picky about accessories like me, you'll probably be better off buying these items seperately and getting higher quality.
