Absolutely, the best little phone I have used in a long time.

Now, keep in mind this is just a phone. It is not a miniature HDTV, MP3 player, GPS, PDA, WiFi enabled web surfing thingamabob. This little guy is just a phone.

As a phone it is fantastic. My sole pupose in buying this phone was for a trip to europe and I needed a tiny phone that would slip into my pocket, would pull great reception, and was loud and clear enough to prevent a whole bunch of can-you-hear-me-now's.

The headset is very clear and the mic is very sensitive and excellent at isolating your voice from background noise.

The battery life is fantastic. Days will go by before I need to charge it even if I talk on it for 4+ hours in a day.

The phone is Lilliputian but Gulliver could dial it as the buttons are very well sized and the tactile feel allows you to dial without mashing down multiple keys at once.

The menu's are very easy to navigate and the phone is loaded with a ton of actual useful phone features. Check the specs on panasonic's site or the user manual link here on Amazon's gd55 page to see what I mean.

If you're looking for a phone that will work and work well and stay out of your way until you need it then buy this phone.
