Rating: Summary: One of the best phones on the market Review: I recently purchased the Panasonic X70 after having a fatal accident with my Sony Ericsson Z600 (It fell in the toilet). Before buying the X70, I did a lot of research to find a phone for me that was worth the money, and the X70 was it.
A lot of people dislike the camera quality on this phone, but its really above average. You can't expect a 5 megapixel camera on a phone.
As for the games, unfortunately JAVA is not used, but In-Fusio is. This means that you can download more games, but you have to pay for them. I'm still looking for a way to get them free. The game comes with four preloaded games, and they are pretty fun.
The preloaded ringtones on the phone were surprisingly different than on most other phones because they actually sound like music, and they are pretty loud. The phone supports MIDI and WAV files so more ringtones can be downloaded.
The infrared and Bluetooth work fine on the phone.
The speakerphone function's volume isn't too loud, but I wasn't expecting to get a Nextel. It gets the job done.
The phone I purchased is unlocked and triband, and it worked with every SIM card I put in it including a Vodafone card from Greece, so it can pretty much be used all around the world.
This phone truly is great. If you are looking for an economical phone with a plethra of functions and extras, this is the phone for you. If you are considering purchasing this phone, check out globstarusa. Thats where I bought mine. The price, shipping, and overall quality is great.
