Summary: Survives everything
Review: I got the v60 for free about two years ago as a gift from my dad's credit card company. I loved it from the moment i first used it because it is super simple to use. Everything is dummy-proof from the menus to the keys... everything. But, what really makes this cell phone the best in the world is that it has survived a bunch of things. I've dropped it down two flights of stairs (didn't even turn off or malfunction), I've dropped it in the toilet (leave it to dry for a whole day), my boyfriend went swimming with his cellphone in his trunks, another friend of mine accidently left her in her jeans and the cell went into the washing machine, i dropped it going 80 mph on my fourwheel... that's only to mention a few of the bigger things that have happened to it...seriously, this cell phone rules... The only thing that i would recommend is buy a whole bunch of antennas... i've gone through eight... they're pretty fragile... But, otherwise the reception, the simpleness of it, the "endurance".... it just rules...

Summary: Happy with it, mostly.
Review: I got this phone a couple of weeks ago and have been quite happy with it. Compared to my old Nokia, this phone is so much smaller and easier to carry. I haven't had much problem with the signals, but I did notice it's a little flakier than the Nokia. It can get good signals indoor, but it is more sensitive to changes in position. The battery life so far as been good. I don't use my phone very much, but I no longer need to charge the phone every other day (which is required for the old Nokia).I am fine with the user interface, although the phone book interface could use some improvement. And the phone still can't replace my PDA.

Review: I had this phone for awhile and it isn't that great. TDMA is not good at all, I would definately go w/ the T721 or the Samsung 426. Oh, and the reception could be becuz of the phone OR the service. This is the phone.

Summary: Good basic phone
Review: I have an earlier version of the V60, and I have to say that I really like it. I've had it about 8 months now, and have had no problems with it. Reception is very good -- people are surprised to hear I'm on a cell -- they think it's a land line. I don't wish it had a camera -- I already have a digital camera for that. It's a good small size and it feels solid in the hand. I have had no problems with the antenna -- I carry it in my purse. I've banged it around a bit, because I'm clumsy, but it's still in great shape. This is only the second phone I've ever had, and I would like to keep it for awhile. It doesn't have a bunch of dancing bologna like some of the newer phones, but for a professional person, it's a great, dependable phone.

Summary: Not as good as it looks...
Review: I have gone through my fair share of cell phones. Co-workers recommended I purchase this phone, but so far it's the worst I've had. The phone itself is easy to use, great size, but my reception is horrible! I've had service w/ AT&T for some 4-5 years and lived in the same area during that time. I had great reception with the several Nokia phones I've had, but unfortunately I get awful reception with this one. I wouldn't recommend it.

Summary: It Has Looks and Brains!!
Review: I have had my v60i for a month and a half and have had no problems. Before I purchased this phone, I read all the negative reviews regarding the antenna breaking. The antenna just doesn't break off for no apparent reason. Most likely the individuals applied pressure to the antenna to remove it from the holster. This is an absolutely beautiful phone. I get reception where I usually was unable to. I used to have a Motorola 720; I hated it. I was constantly charging it and dropping it because of the holster. It never stayed in the holster when I would bend. People are complaining about the holster for the v60i for being too hard to remove. I love it! Once I put my gorgeous v60i in my holster, it stays put.

Review: I love this phone but have had some problems with it. I am actually on my 4th, yes 4th Motorola V60i. The first one never worked with the handsfree port, so I sent it back to the company and they didn't send me a new phone, but a refurbished one. The next 2 (also refurbished) had problems also and I finally got lucky with the last one, which is the one I am currently using. Also, alot of the time it won't ring when I am getting a call... it only tells me that I have a voicemail waiting afterwards. This gets highly frustrating. I am ready to change.

Summary: Great basic phone!
Review: I originally bought this phone used on eBay but I like it so much I am going to buy a new one. I was interested in this model as an upgrade from my baisc Nokia for 2 reasons: 1)I work in an industrial environment and never heard my Nokia ring at work (didn't have a vibrate setting) and 2)the Nokia was an 'open face' and I was really beating it up wearing it on my belt. The V60 and exceeded my expectations. Also I'm not sure what the reviewer that said it ony has three ring tones was on about. The V60 has lots of them, he was discribing ring settings, not tones, and failed to mention several other options such as simultaneous ring & vibrate (I use this one so I don't have to switch setting every time I enter or leave work). I also found the User Guide pretty straight forward, so I guess if you don't understand that you won't be able to use too many features effectively. It also has the ability to sync info with almost any desktop computer, I find it much easier to manage my phone book and calander on my Mac (although you have to use iSync or other 3rd party software, not the Motorola software) and then download to the phone, I can even change the speed dial numbers on the desktop. Last but not least are the asthetics: a very sleek and professional looking mobile!

Review: I really don't know why people complain about this phone.
It has better reception than my wife's Panasonic, or the Nokia she had before that (same provider as mine). The clip is really effective at keeping the phone from falling off your belt, pocket, etc. I have however dropped my V60i from my hand onto asphalt - no damage. Battery life is exceptional. No, it doesn't have a camera or a color display, but I don't want those features anyway. I would have rated it 5 stars, but I occasionally bump the 3 external buttons and change ringer volume inadvertently.
