Summary: Great but for a lower price.
Review: i bought this phone when it had first come out for $400 from ATT. The phone looks great(metal body makes it feel, and act strong. if you drop it it will survive.) The phone has a mess load of great features that you can read about from other users, take note, if you want this phone, the volume (on high) is extremely low. while in a small crowd with just some talking theres no way you could hear the person on the other end. When you first buy phone, antenna may be kind of sharp in your pocket. it left a nasty red mark on my leg. my last complaint is that the phone tends to move slowly between menus and when trying to save a picture.
this is a great phone with a few minor faults, i recommend to anyone looking for a fun, but buisness oriented phone.

Summary: Excellent phone, but !!!
Review: I had Nokia 6610 for 6 months, and have been very happy with it. But wanted to buy a camera phone phone with bluetooth, so here in my opinion is one of the best choices. After using it for 2 weeks, this is what I think:Pros:
- Decent camera with 4X zoom.
- Loaded with features
- Lots of "normal" ring tones
- Bluetooth (although haven't tried it yet)
- Keys nicely displayed, big screen
- Good battery life Cons:
- The "on" and "off" keys are reversed, compared to Nokia and Samsung phones...A big nuisance.
- The antenna, although improves signal quality, is a pain in the a**.
- AT&T has the worst service, no fault of motorola.
- Usual problems with clamshell phones, like having to answer a call while driving is much easier if you have a "candy bar" Nokia phone.
- The phone is a little heavier than the new samsung and nokia phones, and is not as small as some pictures suggest.
- Some of the menu features are hidden way deep. Nokia, in my opinion, has the most user friendly menu display. Overall an excellent phone, but seriously consider Nokia 6600. A

Summary: Good Phone
Review: I have had this phone for long and it has just been great. The color is great, the camera is great, the reception is great also. TO THE PERSON WHO ASKED HOW TO UNLOCK IT: I don't know why you would wanna use it with TMobile, the worst of the worst, but to unlock it, you hafta call ATT and ask them for the unlock code. Summary: Great feature packed phone with clear sound.
Review: I have had this V600 Motorola jewel for three weeks and indeed, it is an excellent phone. All amenities were beyond my expectations. The phone size, weight and layout are excellent. Blue Tooth connectivity was excellent. The phone has a neat recorder that turned out to be a real nice addition. One can record up to a one minute message and play back a will. A really nice feature of this is that one can record phone conversations and record directions or phone numbers during the conversation for later playback. Also, for husbands calling home for bread and milk pickups, You'll record all the extra you'll need to ensure your not in trouble when you get home.
Pictures can be taken and sent to another phone or a computer email address. The pictures are very good. An option can be purchased to transfer to your computer either blue tooth or cable. There is a camera zoom feature which is digital, not optical, but can really save the day.
I Purchased an excellent Blue Tooth headset (Logitech) and am able to have calls directed to the headset without touching the phone. A real safety measure when driving. The headset includes noise canceling technology so you can hear clearly when in a noisy area. The headset has a seven (7) hour talk time and one month standby and charges it's lithium battery in a neat cradle which has a cover to keep any dust off. It affords maximum comfort when worn for long periods.
The speaker phone is excellent and is certainly loud enough for any situation. The antenna is external but is fixed and does not need to be raised. The key layout is well spaced and large enough for most to use easily. The front and back cover is mostly metal and provides a feeling of sturdiness and assurance. Mine is set to answer when opened. Summary: Just Say No!!!!
Review: I originally purchased this phone in August, I had to get it replaced 2x since then because of various issues, which include, however, not limited to: Calls not terminating when hanging up, corrupt external/internal display. I am on my 3rd one and now I am unable to successfully make a call 95% of the time (it tells me to retry) even on my preprogrammed numbers. It is extremely disappointing because the features of the phone are great, however, it is just not a dependable phone. I had a nokia prior to this phone and didnt have any problems. As much as I like the look and feel, its not worth the trouble. No more Motorolas for me. Be afraid folks, be very afraid!!!

Summary: Feature packed including Bluetooth!
Review: I recently purchased the V600 for AT&T's service. I have to say this is the best cell phone I've ever used! I'll tell you why. I myself have had various cell phones over the past seven years, everyone was a flip phone. I've had pretty good luck with them, even with the Motorola 720! This phone has anything the average tech head would want. First thing is the Bluetooth. I can send my appointments and contacts and pictures to my computer, via usb bluetooth adapter. Picture quality is the best I've seen on a cell phone. I'm actually able to blow up the pictures on my computer to about 6x9 size with very good clarity. Even though the included ringtones are great the mp3 ringtones ability lets me edit any mp3 I have and send it to my V600 as a ringtone. The speakerphone actually works really good even when I'm in my car on the highway.
And probably the most important part is the call quality, it sounds as good or better than any other cell phone I've ever used. Voice recorder and external caller id are also a big thing for me and this phone has just been so dependable. And that's been my experience with it since I bought it six weeks ago.

Summary: nifty little phone
Review: i recently replaced my panisonic allure phone with the v600. i was worried because one the reviews said you couldn't adjust the sound on the game "stuntman", but that is a misconception because i turned off the sound by using the options screen in the menu of the game.
it is a great phone. sometimes a little hard to figure out where things are located, but nice other than that.

Summary: Poor Battery / Long Charge Time / Overall Good Phone
Review: I was looking into buying a V600 via Amazon.com, but I did not get it here. With a little bargin hunting, a local store threw in a few extras(eg. Motorola Blue tooth headset HS810 for free, $75.00 service credit, an instore discount to bring the price down to $99.00 Plus tax but I had to sign a 2yr contract with Cingular, I also picked up the 19.99 Media package from cingular which has 1500 text msg, 200 MMS Msg, "Unlimited" Wireless Internet Express!!! per month) Another thing that added to my decision to buy from a local store and sign up with Cingular was that the V600 from cingular is "Unlocked" which means I can use any "GSM" SIM Card in it, Anywhere there is GSM service, Europe, ASIA, South America, etc...The trick here is if you travel and instead of paying high international roaming charges, you pick up a local prepaid sim card and stick it in your phone and thats it. AT&T and TMobile phones are still "LOCKED" and you can only use them with their service. But you can get them unlocked but you would have to modifly your phone software which might void the warranty if not done by AT&T or TMobile. The motorola is a "TRUE Quad Band World phone" so why have restriction to it use!!! But if I did not fall into that I would had purchased the V600 from amazon.com and pickup AT&T service...I have been sitting on the fence watching and waiting for amazon.com to drop the prices and set up some type of "porting" process with AT&T for some time, but this deal was at the right time for me. Anyways I had the phone for about 2 weeks now, the battery life is poor. I had better talk times with sony/ericson before. The "slim Li-ion" battery last for about 1 day at most with regular usage before you have to charge it. The charger only "trickle" charges and it takes a good 4-6 hours to bring the battery up to full charge!!! I have looked for "extened" batteries but none exsits at the time. I have also looked for "fast chargers" and they are not around yet. Perhaps Motorola will see that this is a problem, and make a battery that has more capacity and sell it later. They might have to make a "Bigger and Fatter" battery with a modified battery cover since it is part of the v600 casing, like they did for the v60's So I purchased a motorola car charger and I have the phone pluged in when I am in the car, and I also use Motorola's "Desktop clock/charger" at home which has a slot for the phone and a spare battery at the same time. So I sit waiting for a "Longer Life" battery to come. Another thing the phone has a VGA camera 640x480 but no abilities to take "Video" it can only take "Stills". You can however download video clips and play them on the phone. The phone only has 5Megs of shared internal memory. Some ringtones, games and pictures all add up quickly in memory usage. OVERALL the phone is solid and easy to use, phonebook, datebook, messages, etc... all about as what you would expect from a phone. I read that the new version the "V710" will have Video abilities, expandable memory, and a 1+ Megapxial camera, who knows when that comes out what better features will be in the next phone. At this time the V600 is very good and usable for now. I gave it 3 stars B/C with all the bells and wistles you should have a battery that lasts and a charger that does not take "overnight" to charge the thing up to full power. 3 1/2 stars if this was fixed. 4 stars if it had video capture ability and expandable memory 5 stars if it had PTT (Push to Talk/Walkie-Talkie) and the phone carriers got on that bandwagon!!! Review: If I had spent about one hundred bucks for this phone I would have been much happier. For the price, this phone could be better. Before I go on, however, let me say this is a good phone. I am able to receive calls in more places, I have fewer dropped calls, and the reception/speaker phone are great. (I realize much of this has to do with AT&T poor service.) Receiving calls without losing them should be expected, even from the "free" phones. But this phone falls short in some places. With my old Nokia, I could lock it by pushing a couple of buttons. The Motorola requires scrolling through the security menu (8 clicks). Why would I have to lock a flip phone, you ask? Because the side buttons that remain exposed when the cover is closed start the voice recording (3 unexpected messages recorded in a week); and scrolls though the ring style (when I hit silent mode I expect the phone stay silent). When pulling it out of my carrier (not included, of course), I've pressed the buttons accidently -- unless the scrolling happened as the phone rested in the carrier -- worse! Speaking of scrolling, the phone book software saves every number separately. So, if you have 3 or 4 or 5 numbers for someone (not unusual these days) be prepared to scroll through all of these to get to the one you need (instead of drilling down to a submenu with only the name listed). Finally, the manual is terrible. Things are difficult to find (I still can't tell if the phone can transfer my phone numbers from my SIM card -- I don't think it can); and there is no diagram explaining what the buttons and other components are (like the rubber plug on the back of the phone that keeps the back cover from closing properly). Also, if you want to transfer numbers to and from the phone (see my SIM card comment above), be prepared to spend another 30 bucks on the synching software. And when you're ordering the software, make sure to order an extra earpiece...the one that comes with the phone is lousy (can you hear me now?...{shouting} I SAID, CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW). Am I happy...yes. Super satisfied? Far from it.

Summary: Everything I need
Review: It has everything on it that I need. I have no problem hearing on it or other people hearing me, like some of the comments in other reviews. I bought mine refurbished (but I couldn'y tell it wasn't brand new) and got it free from AT&T, and because it was refurbished, any issues that came up after the V600's initial release were resolved during the refurbishing process. This is an excellent phone.
