Summary: Very disappointing phone
Review: After a fantastic experience with my trusty old V60, I was eagerly anticipating the release of the V600. Once it became available, my anticipation soon turned to disappointment.
The phone's software was the most obvious culprit. Where the V60 was rock-solid and quick, the V600 felt sluggish. There would be lag when certain functions were requested. Also, the phone would lock up in strange ways -- for example, when I would drop a call the phone would not actually disconnect, nor would it let me hang up manually. Instead, I had to powercycle the phone.
The radio did not seem to be very reliable either -- there would be horrible fluctuations in the strength of the signal, sometimes dropping from 4 or 5 bars to 0 for no good reason for a split second, just long enough to drop the call and hang the phone, all while the phone was just lying there on my desk.
What was also annoying were the buttons on the left side of the phone to change the mode the phone was in -- ring, vibrate, silent, etc. When the phone was in my pocket that button would constantly be getting pressed, often changing the setting and emitting an annoying "blip" sound.
Finally, the speakerphone was lousy, and the crippled bluetooth profile was disappointing. Overall, I'm very unhappy with this phone, and I'm glad it met an untimely end drowning in my dog's waterbowl so that I had an excuse to get the Nokia 6230, which is a vast improvement. I'm probably never going to own a Motorola phone again.

Summary: ok with at&t, but better with t mobile
Review: All around this is a great phone. It has great features such as bluetooth and great camera quality compared to my E715. The phone was ok with At&t service. After unlocking the phone used it with Tmobile, calls were alot clearer and picked up reception where at&t couldn't. Overall this is a great phone, the software on the phone is still a little buggy, theres a slight delay when trying to pick up an incoming call.

Summary: Kirk to Scotty!
Review: Bthbthdatida! How do you spell that Star Trek communicator sound? This replaces my V60 model and uses all the same chargers, earbud(BT), data connect(BT), It has more of everything. All the logical progressions from an already very good series. The neccessary "Moto" software is current and updates well. It syncs with Outlook and Calendar. My first real use of BT. It's good once it sets up correctly. Like all really good devices, the quality and the thought that is put into this technology is revealed with use. 115 kbps as modem, good sound quality, no dropped calls, excellent battery life. Solid build, lot's of options and settings. 3 zoom levels for pics and all the multi-media funtions available today. Go MOTO!

Summary: Typical Motorola junk
Review: Coming from a Samsung cell phone, this Motorola felt like a cheap toy. I've owned 3 Motorola's and 1 Samsung in the past and not one Moto surpasses the one Samsung I've owned. After all the hype, I was really expecting a feature packed quality phone, but received typical Moto junk. First of all, when is Moto going to put the "talk" and "end" button in the correct places? Second, this is a laggy phone. From the viewing the browser to simply trying to access my phonebook, sometimes the phone lags as if I'm trying to do too many things simultaneously. It's not a huge problem, but it's just annoying sometimes especially for a phone at this price. Third, when you flip open and close the phone, it will eventually start scratching the top mid section of the phone. It's hard to explain exactly where, but it does. I think they've corrected this problem for the new versions of the V600. Fourth, the V600 was a lot heavier than I expected. I started to notice this after a few days of carrying it around. It's kinda big compared to the current new line-up of cell phones. Fifth, NO VIDEO? Dissapointing. I thought having bluetooth would of outweighed this lack of feature, but it didn't. Sixth, the design of the phone is mediocre, but looks really outdated and tacky compared to the new Samsung models such as the A680. Again, I thought the function and features of this phone would make me forget about the looks, but everytime I see a sleek sexy silver flip-phone by Samsung, LG or SE (z600), I regret getting this Moto. The worst part is, bluetooth is not even as useful as I thought it'd be. Not much to do other than using a wireless headset and transfering files. Currently only 1 car, 04 Acura TL, has BT as well. Finally, the ear piece is absolute horse crap. No further explanation is needed. Positives of this phone are minimal. It has a nice vibrant LCD screen. The shape of the phone itself feels good in your hands, but it does feel a bit cheap. It doesn't feel like it could take a good beating. A couple drops and the phone could literally fall apart. The outside LCD is OK, although they could of made it a color LCD screen like the Samsung A680 and Sanyo 8200 where you can utilize photo caller-ID. The reception is above average, but that will vary depending on your location. The camera is good at best, but not the greatest. Overall, not a good phone for the price. The only reason I can understand for the people purchasing this phone is for those who absolutely need BT or they're a die-hard Moto fan. Otherwise, this phone is not worth the hefty price-tag.

Summary: Poorly designed and low quality
Review: Dropped calls are frequent, after 3 months, the screen was dead and i got a refurbished one from At&T under the warranty-exchange program.The second one hang a lot and sometimes have to be restarted after a drop call. Side buttons that change the mode of the phone doesnt are annoying. Also, there's no way to lock the browser function so once in a while, i might mispress that button and the stupid At&T will charge me for using their internet service even though it's obvious that only a couple thousand bytes get through. Wont recommend this phone at all, can wait to get a new Nokia, they have better functionality and quality though might not look as cool

Summary: My best phone ever
Review: Excellent color and clarity on the screen. Camera works great. Easy, intuitive menu navigation and plenty of shortcut and customization options. (Make sure you understand all the trade-offs before deciding to set up your phonebook contacts on the phone memory or SIM card. For instance, if the contact is on the SIM card you can't attach a picture.) Ability to change ring style loud/soft/vibrate/vibrate & ring/off without opening the phone is very handy. Web downloads are reasonably fast. Battery life not great, but still better than average. Multi-position plastic holster is relatively cheap and extremely functional.

Summary: Want this phone with no service?
Review: Felt compelled to chime in with my experience also to save someone else the pain of owning this phone.
I work in a single story building with lots of windows. No signal. Same for my house. Both in urban areas where everyone else has coverage.
Lots of dropped calls. It takes about 60 seconds for the phone to "realize" the call has been dropped. Otherwise I have to cycle the power, which takes about that much time anyway.
This phone sucks.

Summary: Disappointed
Review: I bought this phone a few months back. For some reason, the signal is really bad. First, I thought it is because I was in the place that have no signal. Then, I found out that my friend who uses Nokia have all the signals I 've ever dreamed of. She and I use AT&T GSM...So the only reason I can come up with is that the phone does not work right. Moreoever, it has been acting weird lately. Sometime it turned off by itself and took at least 5 mins to turn on again especially when I really needed to use it. I thought that the flip phone was cool....but now I can't wait to use Nokia again!
