Summary: Fantastic phone!
Review: Once you get past the odd keypad layout, this is a great little phone! You just can't get a phone for anywhere near this price that has the screen and software available. Reception is clear and it gets great signal strength (especially compared to my old Sony Ericsson T68i). Bluetooth works great - I can even use it with my Sony Ericsson HBH-60 headset with no problems at all.Strongly recommend going with T-Mobile and getting the $10/month "T-Zones Pro" so you can use the built-in web browser without paying additional fees for online time. T-Mobile really has the best data plan I've seen.

Summary: Volume, Volume, Volume....
Review: I've given this phone 4 stars because it is basically a great design. I love the bluetooth and - I know that I'm in the minority - but I LIKE the size. It actually feels like there is something in my hand when I'm talking. What I don't like is the volume - both ringer and especially caller voice volume. I've probably given my age away - 55 - because I like the size and while I still hear reasonably well I DON'T have the hearing of a 20 year old. Most times I am straining to hear the caller's voice. The increase volume button is on the front of this phone and you must ask the caller to pause for a moment so that you can find the button and maxamize the volume. For some reason the phone seems to not hold this maxamized position between calls. Even at maximum you may have trouble hearing if there is background noise. My plan is to wait a little longer to see if Nokia comes out with a software update for the phone - doubtful - they seem a little like the old Microsoft.... Keep pumping out new products with little attention given to the old ones... thus creating a reason for an upgrade. I probably will end up purchasing a new phone at full price just because of the low volume level.

Review: I love this phone. I really like the screen resolution. The menu and features are great. Good reception. The pictures are really good quality. No complaints at all. Wokrs great, I would recomend it.

Phone must have a sliding cover to cover the screen when not used.
Ringer Volume is low.
Phone must come with application/Software like FullSreen caller,MP3 Player and other daily usage application.Customer's will then know what good this phone can do.

Summary: Review after 1 year of use - Good phone with bad ringer vol.
Review: I am writing this after close to a year long of use. The only reason I bought this was - it was FREE :-) and comes with Bluetooth and IR. Now let us go to the review. As a phone - reception is exceptional, BT works great, screen resolution is mind-blowing. Phone book is very detailed and good. Call logs are good. These are basics for any phone. For all these parameters, this phone stands apart EXCEPT the ringer volume - I will get to this later. Size - it is a big problem. I bought a holster, then an original case from Nokia and it doesnt work anyway. By the time I open the velcro flap to get the phone out and hit the talk button, the call goes to voice mail. So I abandoned using any case. This phone is a bulkier. Keypads - It looks different and great and especially at night, it is eyecatching but it is a pain to use. I use internet a lot via phone so it is more painful. Ringer - Like many mentioned, no matter how high you set, the sound is not enough. I have a tiny Motorola V66 that will drive you out of the house with its ringer volume! Workaround is to keep "Vibrate & Ring". In the car and mall keep "Outdoor" profile. Handset volume - I havent seen many complained about this. This is another nuisance. When you either send/receive calls and if you did not press any other key, you can adjust the volume. If you had pressed any options while calling some customer support, you can't. It took me a while to understand this funny behavior. Workaround is hit the "back" key to return to enable volume adjustment. Battery - Great. Never had problem. I turn on my BT all the time and works still fine. Screen size - I love the screen size. This is pretty much the size of my Tungsten T. Other features - Calendar, To-do etc., are as good as a PDA. You dont really need any PDA if you have this and setup an easier sync process. There is no "Auto-keylock" feature. This feature has been spread across two different features. Camera quality is ok. Dont expect too much from this one. Memory card feature is great. This helps you to transfer images back and forth to a computer. There are dozens of sites to offer wallpapers etc. I downloaded some utils/games for this phones for my son to play. This phone is great in most part except, size, ringer vol and handset vol. For a free phone, hey, you cant complain so much. Hope this helps

Summary: terrible!
Review: I bought 2 of these phones...one for me and the other for my wife. We've had them for several months now and had nothing but problems with it. We both had upgraded from a Motorola T720i (terrible as well). Our nokia's turns themselves off everytime constantly. The volume is very sofy even when turned all the way up, making it very hard to hear. Ringer volume is also very soft even at highest setting. We've ordered replacements with hopes of better quality.

Summary: It's big, has issues, but it's still a fun phone...
Review: I have the 3650 with T-Mobile service and although it certainly has some serious shortcomings, it's a really fun phone to have in your (large) pocket when going out with friends. The camera takes fairly decent 640 X 480 photos, but if you want any kind of detail, subject must be within arm's length and you must have a steady hand. I've taken a number of shots and you have to be careful when pressing the shoot button to not press so hard that your hand moves, or you've got a blurry shot. Battery life can vary depending on usage. I've had stretches where I'm not using the phone and the battery's still got a couple of bars left, but the other night I was viewing pictures and the next morning I woke up with a dead phone. On that note, there is a well documented issue on various message boards around the web where a user will go to bed with a fully charged phone and wake up with a dead one. There is a relatively simple fix for this that involves folding up a piece of paper and placing it between the battery and the battery cover. I was skeptical, but it did work for me. The software package that comes with the phone, which is also available on the Nokia website is functional and offers quick transfer of file and contacts if you have Bluetooth. SMS, sending email, and general phone number dialing can be a bit tricky at first because of the non-standard keypad, but it does get a lot easier with some time. Whenever I break this phone out, I invariably get comments about how large it is, but that is perfect for someone like me who is apt to lose items out of my pocket. Overall, this phone is a lot of fun and I haven't had a major problem with T-Mobile, which I did have back when they were Voicestream.

Summary: So much potential, but so darn big
Review: They were still a hassle. It was my first cell phone, so I was quite happy with the voice quality, nice screen and wealth of features. Then I lost the phone on a trip. I wish I'd had phone insurance. This time, I got a Sony Ericsson T610 as a replacement. I am so much happier with the new phone. It has made me realise all the weaknesses of the 3650, which include: - it's far too large
- it uses up battery way too quickly (I was charging every second night, if not every night)
- did I mention that it's far too large? In the end, I have no idea why it's so big, and the battery life is relatively poor. I'm glad I made the switch.

Review: A great phone, bought it in Sept 2003. Since then it has been working great. The battery charges quickly compare to my old phone. It has some good features. One of which is the Calendar. I use it a lot to remind me about special events and different tasks. It works just handy. T-Mobile's T-Zone service is good too. I could surf the internet when needed. It shows the minutes I used after each call. Also the timer helps me understand how many minutes I am utilizing while I am talking on the phone. At first I thought the circular dialing may be difficult but after using it, did not bother me at all. It has so many more features which I did not get chance to browse or use yet. Over all - I like it especially with the best deal on Amazon.com, it is worth the price. Pros-
- Bulit in camera and video features
- Scheduler, Calendar, Notebook etc.
- Bluetooth ready
- Good reception. Cons-
- Big phone to accomodate the display.
- Heavy in weight. I wish it was more light weighted, I could have given it 5 star. - The default ringtone is not loud enough. You may miss the important phone while walking on the busy/noisy street/area.
- Does not automatically alert you if you have used your plan minutes.

Summary: Good features... and poorly written software
Review: I needed a phone for my business (in-home computer repair) and the 3650 had just come out and looked like a good choice. That was in August of 2003. Since then, T-Mobile has replaced the phone and battery once and I still have the same problems - the phone constantly crashes. I get errors like "Appserv main closed" which causes me to miss calls and lose text messages. And if you use a car charger (I've bought 2 of them), the battery will not vibrate until you have charged it for a while using the regular wall charger. I've missed a lot of calls this way - if you listen to music while driving, you're not going to know someone is calling you w/o vibrate. Ultimately, I regret choosing this phone. If someone calls and I'm not there to pick up the phone I know that person will try one of my competitors rather than sit around and wait for me to call back. The only plus side is a nice carrying case that I picked up. And T-Mobile has been pretty awesome about the entire thing. Good - T-Mobile rocks, phone looks cool, nice carrying case that hooks on your pocket, features. Bad - P.O.S. phone that has resulted in lost customers and thousands of dollars.
