Summary: Its a great Phone for its value
Review: Its really a great phone with lot of java enabled features if you are really a techie, you can do manythings on this phone. I loved this phone, as java is open programming platform you will find lot of freeware utilities to play with. I installed some freeware software available and those programs are really cool. Good thing is any java techie can write their own programs (isn't it amazing?)

Summary: Wirless Airline Pilot
Review: As an airline pilot who finds himself somewhere different every night and wanting to stay in touch with his family, this phone is the best! I love the video and camera features that allow my wife (got her one too) and kids to send me video and photos of them everyday while I'm away. The Nokia 3650 is like a little PDA and it's software is very intuitive. I've only had it a few days but we are still having a blast with it. With memory getting cheaper I plan to upgrade to a 128MB memory module and store tons of photos and vidoe clips of the kids on the phone for review whenever on the road...can leave more regular photos at home now that I got this. Quality seems good and with a year warranty I should be good if somthing does happen.

Summary: Re: Good feature but bad reception
Review: Some more Cons to the phone after using it for three weeks:
* Phone fails to start a couple of times during power-up. Some startup threads failed to load and you might need to try again or reset (erase) the phone.
* Slippery to hold.
* Favorites menu can't be customised as predicted. Very few application supports the favorites menu (not even todo!)
* Calendar synchronization does not note your change of timezones, nor it works for me (I end up with lots of duplicates and decided to ditch calendar sync)
* Quiet wave ringtones, pray to hear phone rings when you're on a bus or train.

Good phone overall, especally for early adoptors who can bare with the weight. I am sure things will improve, general customers should wait for next wave improvements.

Summary: Great phone that replaces your PDA
Review: I've been using this phone for several monthes and I can suggest it without any doubt. Here are the key features:

- The included application offer great PIM (Contacts and calendar) features.
Actually replaces most of the features of your PDA.

- You can install any compatible application you like including games
(Very nice), MP3s, e-mail clients players and advanced web browsers
like Opera. Word, Excell readers are coming soon.

- Memory is expandable up to 128mb by MMC (Soon to 256mb)

- User interface is great. Very easy to use as usual from Nokia and you can
do everything with one hand like a normal phone.

- Syncing contacts and calendar with bluetooth is great. Windows is supported
by the included Nokia PC Suite and Mac is directly supported by Apple into
the OS (iSync). Trasferring files with bluetooth from or to a PC or MAC is very
easy (Mac OS X have a much better blutooth supprot anyway).

- Photos are of good quality even if limited to 640 x 480 pixels. Movies are of
nice quality too even if short. Photos are stored in jpg, movies in .3gp
that is a mobile version of MPEG4 that is now very well supported in playing
and for prooducing content by Apple's Quicktime on MAC or PC.

- Technically is based on Symbian OS that is a much better os than Palm or
Pocket PC and is the same OS used by new generation smartphones by
Motorola, Sony Ericsson, Siemens, Panasonic and many others the
"de facto" standard for advanced mobile phones. Java support is included.

- Voice quality is very good, battery life is good (3 days of normal use).

- Works abroad as it is a triband GSM - GPRS

Summary: Delicate Babe Magnet
Review: The Nokia 3650 is a great phone. The look of the phone is an attention getter, great for meeting new people! The camera mode works well enough, just don't expect high quality photos, especially in dark enviroments or moving subjects. The video mode is nice, takes good 10 second clips with audio!
On the other hand, however, the Nokia 3650 is one fragile phone. I have dropped it twice, and each time the phone popped open with parts flying everywhere. Second time I dropped it the LCD display cracked, NOT cheap to repair! I assume a carrying case would lessen the damage. This brings up another problem; it is very hard to find accessories for this phone in the USA at the moment.
Bottom Line:
The Nokia 3650 is great as a cell phone and has TONS of very nice features, BUT it is very fragile, so don't drop it!

Summary: Cell phone with lots of promises!
Review: I was amazed to see this phone as being the best seller. Probably because its free with new service and promises to do a lot of things.

Pro's,
1. It has a big color screen with decent quality.
2. It is based on Symbian OS, which means you can load many applications like mp3go, document viewers, games etc.
3. Has a slot for MMC card. Which means you can add a 128MB MMC card and put lots of mp3 on it.
4. Speakerphone mode very well in silent areas.
5. Faceplates can be changed easily once the old one gets scratched or to just for fun.
6. Camera is the best you will find on a cell phone. It has a real utility inspite of low resolution and is very easy to use.
7. Good reception and no ugly antenna like in Motorola and Samsung phones. Antennas break in your pocket.
8. Can record even a video and also play them fine. The processor on the phone can handly 128kbps mp3 playback and still function as a cell phone.
9. Comes bundled with a 16MB SD card and about 4MB internal memory to store hundred's of pics. This better that most 3MP digital camera's!
10. Uses standard Nokia charger/battery/headphone jack etc. Which means you can use most of your old Nokia accessories.

Con's,
1. Battery life is poor, needs daily charging. Nokia designed new color screen phone but kept old battery.
2. Menu's aren't as intuitive as on traditional Nokia phones. This one uses Symbian which is more like a PDA. Also way too many buttons.
3. Screen's backlight turns off very quickly, even when u r playing a game! Haven't found a way to change this. Very annoying.
4. The battery door is a bit flimsy and moves. The case is also ordinary plastic not metallic like an Elph or V60.
5. Its huge compared to other small phones and also a bit bulky.
6. Keypad is weird and takes some time to get used to, esp for SMS use. Games aren't fun either because of the keypad.
7. MMC card slot is not easily accessible like in a PDA. A bit painful to upload/download mp3 songs and pics.
8. Doesn't support SD cards, only MMC.
9. Low max ring volume means you will miss many calls.
10. Weird implementation of Bluetooth means only some BT devices work with it.

Its not perfect though. It needs better battery, screen and keypad. Also its too big/bulky for a cell phone. This phone from Nokia has almost every feature you can ask from a cell phone.

Summary: Great Phone.. Excellent Reception.. so-so PC software
Review: Great Reception.. as long as you are in the coverage area :)

Don't expect it to replace your palm, though.. also the PC synchronization software is not as well designed and seamless as the software most palm users are used to.

Overall a good buy. Unless of course, you can afford the Samsung palm powered one!

Summary: Best thing to hit cell phones since digital signal
Review: Is this phone the end of privacy, or is it the best new commercial product introduction of the year? The answer, I think, is both. This phone does everything it advertises, and with a Java-enabled Linux core the potential for what is to come is staggering. Get one quick, this may end up being an EBay classic in a few years.
