Summary: The Best Nokia or Cell Phone Available in the U.S.
Review: I will not belabor the technical aspects of this phone--but I will sing higest praises to Nokia for making it available in the U.S. Now, if Americans would avail themselves of the data functions of this phone and not just the voice, AT&T, T-Mobile and Cingular "Internet" dl/ul prices would be cheaper.This is, simply put, the best phone on the market to date! The camera is great, that it shoots short videos is amazing, and couple it with the very comfortable Jabra Bluetooth headset, and you have a true deal that even P.T. Barnum himself would be envious of. There are other phones with more vivid colors or larger screens, etc., but you get so much more phone than any other is capable of today (in the US). You can't go wrong--and it's free! How can you beat it? You can't.

Summary: My super new phone
Review: This is a great phone. I reset the left and right button to be video camera and still photo. Reset the resolution to high for good pictures. Now use the infrared to downoad to the PC and email to your friends. I also reset the background image and downloaded tons of free games (regular and java) and more than 80 songs and set them as my ring tones. Added all those images as tags for my contacts. It does take me a while before I tracked down a transparent cover with clip ... and a crystal keypad ... You can also compose music, use your phone as a remote control (download that - free), to-do list, e-mail, etc.

Summary: Great Little Phone
Review: This is my first cell phone and I was a little worried, but with the rebates making it free, I figured it was the best deal right now. I couldn't be happier. I didn't think I'd really use the camera feature but sure enough it came in handy the day after I got the phone when I went rock climbing. The included 16 mb card hold tons of pictures at decent resolution. They're plenty big for emailing. My only complaint is that I have to get a bluetooth adapter for my computer. I would have preferred a simple chord to attach it by usb. Not really Nokia's fault. I love this thing. Can't think of a feature it doesn't have.

Summary: OK phone, but the service needs work
Review: The phone itself was ok - it felt a little cheap when you held it. I'm fairly knowledgeable about computer equipment, so wasn't too daunted when it came to exploring the menu interface. My advice: don't go exploring too much, even with the user guide. (Yes, I was the child that Dad would give a user manual to and tell me to teach him how to use the new toy.) There are sections that refer you to page numbers, and what's on that page has nothing to do with the topic. Also, there's an email option available through the Messaging option, but I was told it wasn't supported on T-Mobile's system. Have to use the "Multimedia" option. What?!! My biggest gripe is their distributor system... I'll find another service with another phone, quite likely. This one didn't impress me enough to buy it again.

Summary: No Service Available
Review: We purchased the T Mobile Nokia 3650 phone and service and the phone is amazing.One problem...I can't talk on it.We were sold a service that isn't available in our area.We live in area code 47401 and were told we were in T Mobile range We finally got them to admit that we are in limited range of service.Needless to say,we have no service and the reps at T Mobile have been of little to no help in resolving our problem.I still am not sure if I am going to get a refund for the phone and a cancellation for the service without having to pay penalties!!? It is extremely frustrating.

Review: Bought the Nokia T Mobile service and when I tried to use the phone I found that I had been sold a service that does not exist.We have no T Mobile service in Bloomington,IN.T Mobile has been terrible to work with.They are not refunding me for the phone or service as of yet.They are rude and uncooperative in trying to resolve this problem.So,beware!

Summary: Great phone, but......
Review: I am very pleased so far with this phone. The only two problems i have had have been with the carrier(T-Mobile). One was that i could NOT access my account online until just a few days ago (July 06,2003) and i bought the phone and service on June 2nd, 2003. The other problem was due to the first one (i realized just recently too). I was receiving email alerts on my phone and i could not STOP THEM from any of the setting on the phone...i had to delete the email account from the T-mobile website, and that's when FINALLY the (mostly JUNK) e-mail alerts stopped!!!!
Other than that i have been pretty pleased with all the features of the phone. NOTES: BEWARE OF THE THINGS THEY DON'T say at the time of purchase!!! 1) Do not expect the picture quality of a digital camera because you'll be dissapointed, the camera in this phone is just for low resolution-spontaneous-on the spot-emergency type of picture. They look good in the computer and GREAT on the phone, but nothing like a good digital picture can be.
2) All of the sound features on this phone are pretty low volume, even at the maximum level. So if you are in noisy places you're pretty much relying on the vibration of the phone (if it's near you) which is a very powerful vibration if i may add.
3)The battery life is not too long but HEY, it charges fully in about an hour or less!!!!! Not bad at all!
4) WHERE ARE THE ACCESORIES???? NOKIA or accesory manufacturers PLEASE BRING ON THE CLIPS and more variety of cases!!!
5) Extremely customizable phone, very cool stuff: background picture, color schemes, customizable ring tones for different callers, thumbnail pictures for callers.
6) Voice activated dialing!
7) VIDEO DOES RECORD SOUND!! (another review said otherwise).
8) Nokia customer service AWESOME...T-Mobile customer service, GOOD.
9) UNIQUE circular keypad design is a PLUS for those who seek to be UNIQUE. Keypad lights up in an very cool neon blue color too.
10) Calls sometimes don't come in, and phone froze one time in a month, not to bad for all the things it has going on(i blame it on the service carrier). Has a 128MB capacity for memory card, brings a 64MB card.
11) NO LOST OR STOLEN insurance COVERAGE!!!!!! so take care of it and keep your eyes open, this is an expensive lil toy!!!!!
12) International capabilities, and many other things. Great features overall.

Summary: Excellent Phone; Minor Annoyances
Review: Coming from older Nokias (6160, 8260, 3360), I was skeptical about getting a slow, application-laden camera phone. But after a week of heavy use, I'm very happy with the Nokia 3650. I recommend it to anyone looking for new phone features who isn't concerned with the 3650's larger size. Good:
- Intuitive menus, organization
- Bluetooth support
- Contact list / phone integration, contact grouping
- Large, bright display
- Configurable filesystem layout
- 16 MB memory card can store hundreds of photos
- Camera is surprisingly useful (I didn't think I'd use it)
- Loud and varied polyphonic ringtones
- Strong reception
- The round key layout works well after getting used to it Bad:
- The phone is large; if it were thinner and shorter, I'd give it 5 stars
- Slight delay when starting applications
- Nokia's PC Suite user interface is terrible
- Contact and calendar synchronization work, but have no facilities for filtering, conflict resolution, etc.
- Vibrate mode is weak compared to earlier Nokias T-Mobile Service:
Reception with T-Mobile in San Francisco is consistently good. I haven't yet been dropped and have only noticed poor reception inside buildings and on typically spotty sections of highway. I did some testing by switching SIM cards with a friend's Sony/Ericsson T68i on AT&T. The Nokia had ~25% better reception on both networks. T-Mobile's service was better than AT&T in Hayes Valley and Pacific Heights and on par in Sonoma county. I now get service in a friend's apartment where AT&T didn't work at all.

Summary: Worth it if you use the screen
Review: I read a lot of the reviews and carefully researched this phone. I also visited a Circuit City to see the phone in person. As a OS X user, bluetooth and iSync support was mandatory. Also, I wanted to play games, surf the net, AIM, take photos and email then, etc. This phone is bigger then a Sony Ericson, but after holding the new Sony's in my hand, I find them way too small. I can;t imagine using that phone for anything other then a phone. The screen is way too small compared to the 3650. The 3650's screen is perfect. The dial pad is awkward the first week, then it's second nature afterwards... Pro's

2) only comes with 2 games (more of a whine)
3) Aren't many apps for the OS yet
4) A lot to learn, gotta read the manual It comes down to what you want from the phone. If you want small slick Zoolander type phone, get a Sony-Ericsson. If you want to surf the net, play games, take notes, make shopping lists, AIM, etc you really want the 3650. The SE may do those, but it's a joke on the SE's small screen compared to the 3650.
