Summary: Good phone, but poor T-Mobile Service
Review: This stylish -- uniquely so -- cell phone from Nokia is large but surprisingly light, and the color screen is one of the best I've seen on a cell phone. The circular dialing pad does take some time to get used to, but likely not as hard as you'd think. The ring tones are nice and loud enough for everybody, and the built-in camera is easy to use. But T-Mobile ranks as the worst mobile operator in the country. The German-owned company has sporadic cellular coverage outside the New York metro area, tends to overbill its customers, and has a user-unfriendly website. While I wholeheartedly recommend the 3650, I advise you stay away from T-Mobile. Get AT&T Wireless instead.

Summary: Cheap screen scratches easily
Review: I carried this phone in my pocket, with nothing else in the pocket, for one day and by the end of the day the screen was completely scratched and dulled. They are using a cheap material for the screen, and its large size makes it to easy to get scratched. I'm returning mine.

Summary: Krazy Keypad
Review: Nokia has been known for thinking outside the box and creating innovative designs. I think they may be going too far with the 3650. I owned the thing for one day and couldn't deal with the circular keypad. Maybe I'm just retarded, but my fingers are trained to dial using a traditional keypad and it just took too much effort to have to learn where the keys were on this phone. Another criticism is that this phone is too damned thick. If it weren't for these 2 things, I probably would have grown to like the phone, being a big fan of Nokia in general. I'm now using the Motorola T722i and like it a lot (even though I'm not a fan of the flip phone).

Summary: Excellent phone - not as big as it looks like
Review: I simply love this phone. If there is a signal problem its just due to the service provider. got nothing to do with the phone.

Best features I found so far:
******************************
1. Clicked away photos which were very good web/email quality. (can't print them but who cares). I always got a still+movie camera in my pocket now.. the best feature so far i liked. The movie quality is thumbnail size so not useful.
Caution: Don't take spy pics

2. The phone has around 4 MB of memory + 16MB of flash card + 380KB on SIM card. Thats pretty good memory.

3. Voice recorder is great if you don't have a pen/paper around to write messages while on a call...Just record the conversations for upto a minute.

4. I could attach thumbnails to to my friends' names in the address book so whenever we talked, their face came on the screen.

5. Calender, alarm (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly) and scheduler functions are very userful.

6. Messaging to all over the world is great as most of the world uses GSM technology. I could send pics and chat with family/friends across the globe. This is tri-band phone so will work everywhere in the world.

7. Ringtone volume is very low BUT ONLY in the normal mode. All you got to do is to choose the OUTDOOR profile and the ringtone volume will be sufficiently loud + vibrator mode will be on.

8. Very lightweight, handy and not as big as it looks like in pics.

Features I did not like:
************************
1. Round key pad is quite annoying while typing messages so even my mom can type SMS messages faster on her rectangular keypad than me.

2. Worst thing is that it doesn't have a data cable so unless you have a laptop with an IR port or a bluetooth card, you can't connect it to the PC.

3. Phone material feels cheap and finish is not that good. Don't drop it unless you want scratches and paint marks.

4. Don't believe when they say GPRS is superfast. It is NOT. It is an old 2.5G technology and it doesn't compare with the really high speed sprint PCS CDMA-2000 3G technology. GPRS is only good for viewing text based pages with zero graphics and they take their own sweet time to load. You may feel nostalgic about the old 14.4Kbps modem days in 1998. I got this phone after using sprint for a year but I feel the PCS vision internet is great and you can connect it to your laptop/home PC and get broadband internet (144kbps) for free !! Sprint doesn't encourage it for obvious reasons and you may have to download the dialer software from unreliable sources (like kazaa) but my roommate uses it and it works !! ....

Summary: Better than a PDA
Review: Unbelievable!! It's a world phone, has an address book (synchronizes with Microsoft Outlook etc), calendar, to-do list, digital camera, video camera, and much more. This phone has everything I could want in a PDA and fits easily in my pocket. In addition, the audio quality is amazing and you can download lots of useful software to add extra functionality from Nokia and Nokia software developers. Polyphonic ring tones - no more annoying cell phone alerts. Plus there's a speakerphone, voice dialing and the list goes on. Also available are downloadable games, feature upgrades and cool accessories. The service from T-Mobile is excellent and I had my new number and service up and running the same day I got the phone from Amazon. T-Mobile also has the lowest call charges for travelers using the phone in Europe that I could find. Would highly recommend it.

Summary: Great phone, got to get a good case though
Review: I like this phone. A lot of features, very friendly to use, responding quick(I used to have an Ericsson T21. OMG, it couldn't even catch up with my inputs--i had to wait before entering the next entry). People have talked a lot about it. Here I just want to point out three things.

1. Many people complained about the case. Actually I just got my Krusell case from a canadian merchandiser for 22 bucks. Made by a European maker, it fits the phone perfectly, even with opening for camera. I like it very much! Go google it!

2. It only plays music of real-player format, i.e., those ending with .rm, .ram, or something like that. It may be hard to find high-quality .rm music. Also the hand-free earphone coming w/ the cell phone is good for chatting, but when it comes to music, forget about it. Anyway when you are on bus or waiting in a line, it's good to have it.

3. Expand your memory. I replaced the 16MB MMC with a 64 MB one. Now I uploaded more than 40 songs, and still got a lot of space for pictures.

Summary: A ton of fun
Review: I've only had this phone for a little over a week, but I'm already having a lot of fun with it. I've used it to keep in touch with friends, play games, check my e-mail, and even record a video of my dad airborn over a cliff. This phone is the perfect blend of functionality and features for the price. Some of my favorite features are:

- Nokia PC Suite Free Software which lets you syncronise calandar, to-do list, notes, and contacts between the phone and bluetooth enabled computer

- E-mail software which enables me to check any pop3 email account. For me, it's my student email at Penn State U.

- Expandable memory. I spent 30 bucks for an MMC card and can now put up to 128 MB of stuff on my phone. As soon as I find an mp3 software for cell phones, I'm set.

Summary: Great functionality
Review: I've had this phone for 3 days now and I like it more each day. The bluetooth connection is awesome for syncing with my Outlook and I plan on getting a bluetooth headset as well. Thanks to the contacts and calendar it looks like I'll be able to get rid of my PDA.....what a relief. Sending pictures and videos is fun. I can even check my webmail and aol mail from this phone! I'm very happ with it. My only complaint is that it is a little bulky but it's still light-weight
