Summary: If you like gadgets you'll like this phone
Review: I wanted a Bluetooth-enabled phone to use with a wireless headset. This was one of the few available. It's not a bad phone at all.

I think for what it is they did cram a lot of stuff into it. It is very flexible. You can load tons of software into it. You can even load the game Doom on it.

Here's my pros and cons list:

Pros
----
1. Very flexible/powerful OS. You can load games, applications, etc.
2. Nice screen. Not super-high color but the images are smooth and gameplay is good.
3. Bluetooth works well.
4. It feels Windows-like in nature. You can load things and then switch between them. You have a desktop and icons.
4. Sound quality is good.
5. Battery life is good.
6. I like the fact that you can switch out the covers. FYI, that includes the clear-plastic cover for the screen. So, if you scratch up the screen then just get another cover, problem solved.
7. It's nice to be able to transfer to/from my PC without using a cable. I use Bluetooth instead.
8. It can synch with your PM apps like Outlook.

Cons
----
1. The screen can be somewhat hard to read in direct sunlight. This is pretty normal though.
2. It is a little big. It is something you would probably want to put on a belt-clip.
3. Polyphonic ringtones are not loud enough. I set it to ring and vibrate and then in noisy environments its not bad.

So, if you want a phone that has everything and you don't mind the size, go for it. If you are the type of person that gets a phone and says "I like it but I wish it had..." then you should get this phone. Unless of course you want it to do your laundry. Then you will have to wait for the bluetooth-enabled washer and dryer ;)

Summary: Minor flaws, but nothing to keep someone from buying it
Review: It took me forever to shop for a phone. I looked a bunch of other phones (samsung s105, panasonic GU87, i don't even remember) and a month after getting this phone, it's da-- good.

Bad:
Same as what everyone else says. Keypad takes a few days to get used to, and the phone's big (not really, only 5 inches) but fine if you have big pockets (me) or you're a girl/woman and carry a purse. It's got so many features, it takes a lil while to get used to but there's no way around that. T-mobile doesn't have the biggest coverage area but it's all good if you're in a big city or on an interstate (and ATL, where I live). Vibration's a lil weak and ringer/speakerphone aren't gonna be loud enough if you're in a club or something, but most people don't go to clubs to take a conference call.

Good:
Good sound and signal. Screen's big and easy to read. It's got tri-band GSM, so you can use it if you're a businessman or just a kid who wants a phone and it works almost anywhere in the world. Bluetooth and infrared (I can't afford all the stuff you need for bluetooth, so I use infrared) means no wires. The phone menus are easy to use and keep track of everything you do on it and include calendar, to do list, address book, and you can download more programs for anything else you could want to do on a phone. You can send and receive e-mails and go online. This thing isn't about to replace your PDA, but it gets close. The MMC card lets you listen to music and watch movies (I just bought a new card so I can listen to 2 hours of mp3 music or watch 2 full-length movies, but I had to get a video program to make the file size smaller). I even have games on there that are like Playstation games (no, i'm not sh----- you). The camera quality is better than a lot of phones. It's not like you can toss your regular camera, but you'll use the phone camera. Voice and one-touch dialing are nice. Buttons are all easy to press. The phone doesn't feel cheap or flimsy. Battery life's a week and and a few days if you don't touch the phone, but if you play games and everything, it'll only last you about half a week (no s--- the more you use it the faster the battery drains). And thas about it.

It's not the perfect phone. It would have been if Nokia wasn't dumb as a brick with the keypad and phone size. If this was a flip phone and it had a regular keypad it would be the perfect phone. But if you're torn between this and a smaller phone with less features and stuff on it like the motorola flip phone or the samsung s105, get this one.

Summary: fantastic phone
Review: This phone is amazing! I almost drained the whole battery the day I got it by just taking pictures. I've had a lot of fun with it. The pictures taken look a lot better then i thought they would, but I don't know how they look on a computer, I'm still deciding whether or not to get tzones. The video, however, was a little less than I expected. It's kinda blurry, but I guess you can't ask for too much from a phone. I was a little aprehensive about the size of it, but it really isn't that bad. The circular keypad isn't bad either. Plus, someone brought to my attention that most of the calls you make will be in your address book, so you won't even be using the keypad that much anyway. The battery charges really fast. I also haven't had any problems with reception or lost calls yet. The speaker phone is a great feature. It is also very light. I just can't say enough good things about this phone. My only real problem with it is how long it will take to get the rebates back, seeing as you have to get your first bill before you can even send off for them.

Summary: A great first phone!
Review: I walked by this phone in a t-mobile shop a few weeks ago and thought to myself... "If they were giving *those* away, then maybe I'd get a cell phone..." because I've been a hold out for ages. Well, I finally gave in. This phone is great. My friend eyed it suspiciously, said "Well, its a little big, but its damn cool.. Sort of like.. A chunky baby!" Yup. Its a cute chunky baby phone. If you're looking for a phone that (to quote another friend) is "skinny & doesn't do anything" this is NOT it. You will not be able to fit it in your garter belt under your ball gone. But hey, its super snazz. The screen is boooooo-tiful. Its comfortable to talk on, the keypad (for a newbie) was easy to get used to, the camera ROCKS. Sure, it could be a little flatter, and I wish they had a non-leather cover standard (i'm still a little nervous about the camera lens & screen, not really safe floating in my purse).. but shoot! It syncs easy as pie with my mac, and its beautiful, and the t-mobile service is great around here. Way better than my friends with AT&T or Sprint. Oh right! And it works in england. Did i mention, its way cool? :>

Summary: OVERRATED...
Review: This phone obviously has been givin some buzz because of its video camera feature, but the quality really [stinks] and you can only record 12 seconds. And if you're trying to film something that's moving, the quality is horrible. A major drawback to this phone is its quiet ringtone. YOU CANNOT HEAR IT. plus the ring tone is like 4-poly or something, much less than the samsungs with 40-poly. my sister's samsung s105 makes my phone sound [aweful]-- her ring tone is much richer and louder. also her LCD screen is much more vibrant. This Nokia has only 4,096 colors, whereas the samsung phones have 65,000 colors. Overall, the Nokia 3650 lacks quality in basic features like screen color and ring tone, but has extra features like video camera and phone voice memo. The phone has an overall plastic cheap feel to it too; i feel that if i drop it, it'll be the end.

another drawback is its alarm system. YOU HAVE TO SET THE ALARM EVERY SINGLE DAY. You cannot set a fixed daily alarm with the alarm feature. (Instead, you can use the calendar feature to ring every morning at 6am, but then it will mark every day on your calendar, making you think that you have some appointment or meeting when it's only the alarm!) Another thing is that it's so confusing! It will take you a whole 2 or 3 days to explore everything... I mean, it took me a whole day to figure out how to change the ringtone... I couldn't find the right menu. it so happens that the ring tone feature is under the profiles menu.. What the heck?? It should be under SOUNDS or something. This phone is very limited as well.. you can only take so many pictures and video caps before your phone will go "NOT ENOUGH MEMORY. PLEASE DELETE SOME DATA FIRST" at EVERYTHING you do, even if you're not trying to take another picture or video.

Overall i regret not buying the SAMSUNG v205 camera phone... i think i definitely want to get flip phones..

Summary: Just about the best!
Review: This being my first mobile, I am very happy with what I started off with. Crystal clear reception and the features are amazing. I had a whole load of contacts on my PDA and the infrared data transfer was a breeze. The size is a wee bit big, and the buttons need sometime to get used to. The photos come out fine(0.3MPixels). Just need a blue tooth device to start transferring to my PC. Beautiful piece!

Summary: Excellent Phone with minor flaws
Review: I have been using this phone for 2 months and I must say it is absolutely wonderful. The reason i did not give it 5 star is because it does have minor flaws. Some of the most glaring are:

1. After a few days of using the phone i realised that the response time was quite slow on this phone. You would have to wait 3-4 seconds to enter a menu. This also happened when the battery was fully charged. Sometimes its just frustrating to wait for so long.

2. In very rare cases, when you switch from one screen to another there is a lag. For ex: You are in the contacts page and want to exit it. On clicking the exit button the new screen will load but parts of the old screen will linger on for a few seconds. Visually, very unpleasing.

3.Size is a little big. Sometimes its difficult to carry it around. You will need big pockets !!!

4.Very rarely, the phone will not let you log back in even though you enter the correct password. It will give you a general system error and you will have to restart the phone.

These are the most glaring of problems I have come across. But dont get me wrong. Despite these, I LOVE the phone and its great. Rest everything is great about the phone. I will not go into the laurels since most of you would be interested in the drawbacks only. Thats what you want to look for while shopping.
BOTTOMLINE: I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the phone if you can put up with minor flaws and are not a size freak.

Happy Shopping!!!
