Rating: Summary: Best cell phone I've ever had (free or otherwise) Review: I got 2 of these phones free after rebates, and have never regretted it. I have had many other brands, and this one has been the best so far...I had it on for 4 days and used it 4 times, and never had to plug it in. The only downfall is that most of the pre-programmed ring tones were lame, and I downloaded a new one right away.
Rating: Summary: Does anyone have this phone??? Review: I'm contemplating getting the Nokia 6010 with T-Mobile to replace my old 5160 with ATT. The 6010 has been offered at a money-back price for several months now and yet there are no reviews. Does anyone have anything good or bad to say about this phone? It looks like a good phone with none of the extra stuff. Thanks in advance. Note: rating of 3 is only so I could get on the forum.
Rating: Summary: Excellent phone and T-Mobile is great Review: I've had this phone since late June and have to report complete satisfaction. I spent hours reading reviews, comparing plans and phones on the web, and researching the carriers. This phone looks and feels great, the keys work well, the color display is sharp, the battery charge is excellent, and the options are endless (including, for example, voice tags!), but very intuitive. The price is right. The folks at T-Mobile downtown Seattle really worked hard and were courteous through a billing mistake. Tip: get your service and check out phones at a T-Mobile store. The activation charge can be waived and you have someone to call in the event of problems at that critical time: the beginning of service. The T-mobile phone customer service can be spotty--inept and/or surly. Fortunately, I've had just two minor problems, and by being clear and direct I got a month's free service from the hassle of one, and $25 plus extra minutes for the other. Verizon definitely has the best coverage, but at such a cost and such an attitude. My T-Mobile reception around the Seattle area and on the (beautiful) north Olympic Peninsula is wonderful. This is important to check out--will the coverage work where you live and travel? My girlfriend and I pay 31. each (after all fees and taxes) per month for unlimited calls to each other (and to any t-mobile user), unlimited calls after 9p and weekends to any phone, and 400 daytime minutes, which we don't seem to use up. So if you're going budget, but want to get as much as you can from both phone and carrier, I belive you can't do better. I've read lots of reviews on Amazon, always sorting for "Most Helpful First", and they've saved me lots of time, money, and grief. It feels great to offer my experience now for the first time.
