Rating: Summary: Bad phone, Not compatible with new network Review: I highly advise against the purchase of this phone. I have had many problems with the phone during 1 year of use and the phone does not support all the frequencies on the AT&T network. They are even offering free replacements. I don't know why it's still for sale, Panasonic has also discontinued this model.
Problems:
* very short battery life with a new battery
* battery no longer charges after one year of use
* poor reception
* consistently shows message "Emergency Use Only"
* turns off by itself (while dialing, answering the phone, talking, etc)
* not compatible with most downloadble programs
* poor speakerphone mic
Browse the web and you'll confirm that other users have had the same problems.
Rating: Summary: Better instant rebate on AT&T Wireless web site. Review: I just want to mention that AT&T Wireless is offering a much better instant rebate on this phone than Amanzon.com. I mean much much better rebate!....
Rating: Summary: Worst phone ever. Review: I traded in my Nokia 8260 for this phone last year and have regretted it ever since. I had great clarity and never any drop calls with my 8260. With this phone, I barely get any reception as it's only a crappy single band phone. Another complaint is the annoying blue light that flashes when you're talking on the phone. Not only is it blinding at night but it draws unwanted attention. The battery life on the phone also sucks as well. It lasts maybe a day on a full charge whereas my Nokia lasted almost 3 days. The camera almost makes a loud noise when used which also gets annoying, even when the phone is on "silent". Another stupid feature is the fact that this phone uses MILITARY time. This is VERY annoying. Honestly, why would you have a phone that only utilizes military time? I've tried finicking through the clock features to get it to read a different time to no avail. The only good thing about this phone is the fact that it has tetris. If you want a crappy phone that has annoying features and drops your calls, this phone is for you.
Rating: Summary: Very good phone, however... Review: It's a good phone with lots of features and memory. However, the carriar is ATT. I have other cellphones - Samsung e715 with T-Mobile. The phones are cheaper, smaller and much better. The T-Mobile service is much better. ATT does not unlock my phones whatsoever. T-mobile unlock my phones no question asked. If I had choice, I'd be sure to join T-Mobile and to get Samsung phones with better rebate, better rate plan and better services.
Rating: Summary: AT&T Hopeless service Review: Phone is good, but AT&T service is very bad and hopeless. Always I get a message 'only emergency calls', it tries to get the signal and no AT&T service. I applied for number portability and I am tired of calling customer service. Even after one week my number was not transferred, then I cancelled AT&T service and returned this phone. My advise is don't take AT & T service.
Rating: Summary: Best Phone I've Had Review: The phone overall is really good you can take really good pictures and send them to your computer, you have mmode on the phone. But sometimes my reception starts craking and pauses at some time, you need the right service to have this phone
Rating: Summary: Great Phone Review: This is a great phone. I've had a few different phones and I like this one the best. The digital camera takes good quality pictures, not as good as an actual digital camera, but not too bad. I had a digital camera on a previous phone, but it wasnt built in, it had to be attached and the photos had to be transfered to the phone (it took too much work for a few photos) But with this phones built in camera its great, you just take the picture and save it, you can then set it as your wallpaper, email it, or other things. I really like how you can compose your own ringtones and download ones if you want to. Concerning the phones size, it is a little on the larger side compared to some other phone, but it doesnt really bother me. The screen is a good size. I love the game Sheep Herding that comes on the phone. It is so cute, Tetris also comes on the phone, also a good game. All together, this is a really good phone, I would definitly recommend it to anyone.

Rating: Summary: so so Review: this is a so so phone. not many games to play and the m mode doesnt always work ... it might be my area but i am in another companies tower more than att...
Rating: Summary: Great features bad reception Review: This phone has integrated a lot of new technology but completely forgot about applying this type of technology in terms of reception. When you talk on the phone and you talk at the same time the other person is talking it cuts out. I'm positive that this isn't the service because it has happened when i have full service. If i could make any suggestions to future buyers i'd tell them to investigate in getting a motorola or a nokia...i've never had a problem with those phones. One final note: don't switch to GSM till you are forced to because the reception varies a lot especially in the bay area.
