The console is rectangular, with a couple of front panels that slant slightly inward to give the box an antique look (the speakers are housed in the panels). Turn the console to the front to control the analog tuner and its illuminated dial scale and its trio of tuning and volume knobs. The retro dial scale is gold-plated and craftily designed, with a look reminiscent of submarine altimeters and old-school thermometers.
