The CMT-EP313 CD/cassette/radio executive microsystem sounds as good as it looks. The system offers 10 watts per channel and Sony's Dynamic Sound Generator (DSG) to heighten the power of music or tailor the sound for a specific location. Position the twin bass-ported speakers for optimal stereo separation using the supplied five-foot speaker wires, or stand them on either side of the main unit for a unified appearance. The CD player offers CD-R/CD-RW compatibility, a one-bit digital-to-analog converter, track programming, and random/repeat play. An auxiliary input lets you hook up an external audio or video device. Like to fall asleep or wake up to tunes? A clock/timer can be set to turn the radio off or on at specified times. For private listening, you'll appreciate the CMT-EP313's .125-inch headphone jack and ergonomically designed Remote Commander remote control.
