Summary: Sony T610 A good deal!
Review: I got Sony T610 5 months ago and I am satisfied with its performance so far. Battery talk time is quite reasonable. Blue tooth feature is very helpful in connecting to the computer. There are very few games on this cell phone. Overall it is a good deal.

Summary: The Elegant
Review: 6 months ago I was looking for a light and camera phone.
Since then I recomanded it to all my family members and friends.
It is very light, pocket phone elegant with its double color dress, silver and black - I recommend it for a buisness use too.
The bluetooth let me synchronize to my office computer in a sec.
I upload pictures, data (calendar, appointments) voice notes etc...and you can hook it to your PDA or laptop for an internet connection. One word: WONDERFUL

Summary: Sony Ericsson T610 Phone
Review: Horrible phone. I'm surprised it's not in the East River yet. The phone has some nifty features such as Bluetooth and a camera phone. Ofcourse, it's all useless if you cannot even make or receive a call.

Summary: Sony Ericsson T610 is not reliable
Review: I owned it for 2 months now. The first time I got the phone, it jammed on me. The key pads on the phone was not to responding. When I get an incoming call, I tried to accept the call by pressing the "yes" button, it didn't take it. I exchanged a new phone with T-mobile, the second phone worked for 1 week. After that, it jammed on me again. Sony Ericsson T610 is definitely not a reliable phone. If one has a emergency, that would be a disaster because the phone key locks all the time. I can't wait till my contract ends so I can get out of this horrible phone and service. Also, signal is terrible. It doesn't work in buildings at all.

Summary: graphics designer
Review: every once in a while. the phone freezes. it isn't very loud. the camera isn't very good. the menu's aren't put together very well.

but if you're a mac user, and you have a lot of contacts, this phone is a godsend. I bluetooth iSync my phone every night and it will check, send and recieve all of my calendar, and contacts and put them right into iCal and my Address book.

don't like the theme? sign up for sony's development and they'll give you the software to compile you're own themes.

I think this phone does pretty well considering it's really a prototype as it's the only phone capable of a lot of the things you do with it.

I'm a gamer and I went through vgmusic.com and dowloaded all of my friends favorite video game songs in midi form. then uploaded them to my phone as their personal ringtones for free using my bluetooth file browser. I also uploaded their pictures or they're favorite images I can identify them with.

so... there's some bugs, but it's really a great phone if you're really using it.

Summary: Small, solid, great battery life
Review: I've had this phone for about a month now and it really hasn't given me any problems. The menus are well laid out and everything seems readily accessible. Also, the battery life is great. I can go 3 or 4 days without needing to recharge it. The phone is small and seems to be pretty durable. I carry it around in my pocket without any protection and it hasn't become scratched or damaged. My only complaint is that the signal isn't that great. Though, it hasn't really been a problem.

The phone has stalled a couple of times, but nothing that took more than a few minutes to resolve. Also, I've noticed that the only times it stalls is when I use a peripheral devices really quickly (like, going in to record a sound and immediately exiting, etc). So as long as you take your time using the peripherals, you should be fine.

If I had to pay anything for the phone, I would probably give it 4 stars. However, if you can get it for free with rebates, it's a perfectly good phone, worthy of 5 stars.

Summary: Very Good Fragile Features
Review: I've only owned this phone for 2 days. I bought the T610 primarily for the Bluetooth. The Bluetooth setup on my Ipaq 4155 was real simple. It just took me literally 60 seconds to set it up. However, when I clicked "save password" on the Bluetooth setup screen on my Ipaq 24 hours later, I began to have trouble connecting. So, I had to delete the whole setup and set it up from scratch again. Now it's fine. I found T-Mobile to be completely clueless on how to setup Bluetooth. When I talk to their customer service reps, I "get" less not "more". Now I just let the username and password screen come up empty every time I connect to Bluetooth and click OK and then I connect right away. Strange.

The phone works fine here in all the places I went to in Manhatten and Queens in NYC. Reception was fine. The first day I had the phone I surfed the web for 4 hours using the Bluetooth and made about 45 minutes in calls. I had to recharge it. The battery was acceptable for it being on all day and for the way I used it.

I had to call Ericcsson technical support to find out that holding down the '7' key creates a pause for my other landline telephone codes and brokerage accounts. The manual never mentioned this.

I'm a Super Geek and I found it a little difficult to set this whole phone up. I'm giving it 4 stars because I like the features. The joystick is cool. But the menus' are not very intuitive.

I haven't tried the camera yet. But I didn't buy this phone for the camera. I bought it for the Bluetooth. After using Sprint for over 6 years, I just find it a little wierd that I have to copy my data to a Sim Card in order to get my contacts positioned in the speed dial slots I want on the phone.

There are just lots of menus here. If the Bluetooth continues to work out, it will be worth it.

Summary: T610 Good Phone with Quirks
Review: I have a T610 with T-Mobile here in South Florida, The 1st phone I got had the Freeze for no reason problem 3x in 3 weeks. It also failed to charge on at least 1 occasion. I returned the phone and got another one and it has been great. Reception is hit and miss in building (good ole faraday effect). The camera is nice but all I use it for is a pic of my cat at this time. Sound quality is good on calls but the Increasing ring is annoying because it doesn't disable even when you set it to off. Screen quality is good but don't bother trying in direct sunlight. The only problem I have is finding a good game for the phone. Anybody know a good morphun game site for this phone? T-Mobile doesn't have any apps available.

Summary: Could NOT get mail-in rebate from Amazon.com
Review: I got a postcard from Amazon.com stating that they could not honor my mail-in rebate because my receipt date was after the promotion period (which was NOT true and my receipt was in the promotion period). I emailed back using the Amazon.com rebate information page. All I got was the exact response stated in the postcard. No specific dates were even provided. I also faxed my receipts to a fax number provided in the email response but never got any response.
I brought a cell phone from Amazon.com instead of some other websites that had lower prices because I thought Amazon.com is more reliable and will honor their rebates. I was very disappointed with Amazon.com after such experience.
