Summary: Nokia Phone
Review: This phone is big!!! Its a replacement for the 'feature free' Panasonic TX phone I had. While the features are great (Tennis game is cool), the battery life rules compared to the Panasonic. For a guy who talks on the phone for well over an hour a day the abttery life is a trade of for the size. I dont use ring tines etc. as the vibrate feature is the one I perfer (Cell phone etiquette, people).

Summary: only if desperate
Review: this phone is boring, ugly, heavy and sometimes freezes. The reception is good but sometimes you could hear yourself echo when speaking. I would only use this phone for emergencies. Also, the phone uses the battery more because it is not a flip phone. This phone has to be locked because if it is to be kept in a bag or pocket buttons will be pressed which can cause it to call someone and waste your minutes.

Summary: Time For A New Cell Phone?
Review: This phone is hot! I've had it about 7 months now. I get e-mail and text messages with it. It has a voice dial option. There's an alarm clock I use all the time. The cost of the phone has dropped a bit since I got it.

Summary: Not that great
Review: This phone was a huge upgrade from the crummy reception I got with the Nokia 8260. I bought this as a Suncom AT&T customer. A lot of people are providing reviews based on their service plan or what is offered under their plan rather than reviewing the quality of this phone. First of all, if you're a Suncom subscriber, you should know that Suncom/AT&T does not support downloadable ring tones. The only way to get ring tones and games is to download them from Nokia.com. This phone has a feature that allows you to browse java games and download thm, but that feature is not available in the Suncom/AT&T network. If your provider is Suncom, you can only get ringtones from suncom.com, which has a crummy collection. I tried to buy a ringtone from nokia.com and found out I couldn't even use it unless I bought it from Suncom. It has some really fun games on it, but it would be nice if you could download more. At this time, Suncom doesn't offer any games for download.

As for quality, the TDMA network is very clear. My phone sounds great and calls don't hang or disconnect like they did on suncom's old network. I very rarely have dropped calls or poor reception. The only problem with the TDMA network however is that it will most likely be replaced or switched in a few years.

As for the phone, one problem is the keylock. When the keys are locked, the screen is not backlit. If you receive a call and want to unlock your keys, you have to do it in the dark, because the backlight does not come on until the keys are unlocked. It also takes two buttons to lock it as opposed to simply holding down the end key like Nokia's past phones.

As others have said, there is no IR port on this phone. You have to enter in all your contact numbers manually, which can take forever. One nice feature of the phone though is that it finally stores seperate entries for people based on work numbers, home, and mobile. No more having to create two seperate entries in your phone book for "John Cell" and John Home."

The ringtones sound excellent. I'll never go back to monophonic tones again. Although some of them are a little out there. Aside from the Nokia ring tone, almost all the ring tones are songs. The generic "ring ring" literally sounds like a phone from the 1930s. You can not get a normal sounding ring tone on this phone at all. The vibration features are kind of phone though because the vibration is synched to the tune of the ringer.

Definately not the best phone out there, but since there are not too many choices with Suncom and AT&T right now, it's one of the only decent options available. I would recommend the Nokia 6560 over this phone. Even though AT&T does not offer Synch capability, the phone at least has an IR port on it so maybe you can use it in the future.

Summary: Great phone!
Review: This phone was free for signing up with AT&T (which by the way has been great: strong reception, no hidden charges..) and I highly recommend it if you want a straightforward phone and aren't so interested in gaming and e-mail/web stuff. The color screen is nice and big, the keypad works great for text messaging, and the ring tones are fine. I haven't found them too loud, instead I set a few different profiles with varying volumes for when I'm inside/outside.
One great thing is on the back of the phone there's a little rubber thingy to rest your finger on when you're talking.
Overall I'm very pleased with AT&T and this phone...AT&T sometimes offers web deals where you can sign up with this phone and get a car charger and case for it as well.

Summary: Good phone, while it lasted.
Review: This seemed like a solid phone. The rings were all right, and my favorite thing was the battery life. My work gave me this phone, and it worked great for about a month. Then, I started having problems with it. Now, when incoming calls come in, the phone locks up, then shuts itself off. Not sure what is wrong with it, but I am getting a replacement of the same model, so I am hoping it was just a lemon.

Other than my problems, it's been a fine phone. My only complaint is that there is no supported data cable to transfer names and numbers to and from the phone, which means a lot of hand entry if you have a lot of business contacts, like me.

Keyboard has a good feel, and screen is plenty good for a phone.

Summary: Amazon is great.. phone is great, just say away from AT&T
Review: Very Good all around, TDMA. Don't go to GSM for a year or so, in this area, anyway.

Summary: Amazon is great.. phone is great, just say away from AT&T
Review: WARNING: AT&T representatives ("Dawn: R361" and "Max: N360") themselves said during my troubleshooting (as detailed below) that I should NOT have bought through Amazon, and that they have received a barrage of complaints from Amazon buyers! I still really like Amazon, but they're integration with AT&T is non existent. People should not have to wait 2-3 days for service after they receive the phone. Buy the same phone on Amazon, but a different carrier.

Summary: Just about the coolest little TDMA phone available
Review: While certainly not a high-end phone, the 3560 is nontheless respectable as is its sibling 3595 GSM phone. Bright, color, loud, graphics, games, and text messaging. I find it to be easier with a 3595 keypad even though the original keypad looks more usable. You can set its auto timed keyguard feature so inadvertent button pushing does nothing.

Around here the best coverage is still provided by AT&T (Cingular Blue) TDMA. This phone also does AMPS so you can communicate if you find yourself in the boonies. Works well on prepaid service.

While it does not sync, you can use Nokia PC suite to send contacts and calendar appointements to it so you can load the contacts from a computer rather than from the phone.
