Summary: Problematic
Review: I've had nothing but problems with this phone for 6 months.
The biggest problems is that the phone has to be powercycled every 24hours or else all calls go straight to voice mail. AT&T told me that the phone's memory gets bogged down if it's not powercycled at least everyday. I've had other phones, and never heard of this problem. I don't get that many calls, and my call volume has not increased since my last phone.

Other problems, the battery has deteriorated fast. I do fully drain my battery before recharging it and was sure to do it for my first few recharges, but my battery still sucks. It's especially problematic because the battery meter is inaccurate. I will go from 4/7 bars to 2/7 bars in 30 min in standby.

There are so many other options these days, so don't get this phone.

Summary: unreliable
Review: I've owned two of these. The first one froze up while I was keying in a new address book entry and never worked again. It was under warranty so I got a replacement. The second one still had problems - sometimes the display would just stop responding for a few minutes, or keys would stick and repeat. I'm very dissatisfied.

Summary: Takes a beating.
Review: Let's just say that when it comes to cell phones...I'm not the most responsible person around. Call me the cell phone grim reaper, but when I touch one of these things it's usually on it's way out. So when I went cell phone hunting, I heard a Nokia was the way to go. I've dunked this thing completely in water at least 4 times so far, dropped it in sand and all other kinds of stuff, left it in a hot car, and all other kinds of abuse...and it still works fine. Got it wet? Just take it apart and let it dry, it'll work in a few hours. Also AT&T's TDMA service is excellent, and being a college student on a campus where no one gets reception...I do. The color screen is a bit lacking, low resolution, but all I wanted was to be able to talk on my phone, beat the crap out of it, and then talk some more. And I can.

Summary: Good Simple Color Nokia, but a tad bit BIG.
Review: Maybe im just used to small phones, but this phone seemed bigger than I expected when I took it out of the box. I was coming from a Nokia 3390/3360, and it was a little bit longer then those. Okay enough about the size if size doesnt bother you. I mean its not HUGE, just bigger than you might think.

The screen is big and bright with customizable wallpapers/screen savers and color schemes. There are also Xpress on Faceplates available in third party or OEM. The menu's are the traditionally friendly Nokia style. Voice clarity is also good. It can do Polyphonic ringtones and the like as well.

Goods:
-Big bright color screen
-Polyphonic Ring tones.. sound almost like real music
-Solid State ATT Coverage [TDMA, not GSM]
-Good Call Quality.
-Above average battery life.

Bads:
-Size may be a bit big for some people, although it wil still fit in a non-tight pants pocket because it is quite flat.
-Menus are a bit slow to react. This is a true of all color nokias. But I have heard that Sony Ericson Menus are even more sluggish.
-Games are a bit boring.

Summary: it sucks!
Review: Okay, here's the deal. I've had mine for 6 months; after two, the little "finger spot" on the back that one customer mentioned came off... this happened to three of my friends with the same phone, also. The vibrate & ringer is really bad, too: not only did mine stop working--both ringing and vibrating--it repeatedly happened with my service provider telling me they could do nothing. This same thing happened with another of my friends. And to the person that said it will dry and work the same... I've been waiting 24 hours for that to happen. I'm going to get a new phone this afternoon.

Motorola has a very lovely color screen non-flip phone, i believe it's the C350... get that if you want a similar phone. It's twenty times as good as any Nokia piece of crap... even the guy at SunCom said so.

Summary: Great, but no, I repeat, no synchronization!
Review: Perhaps other reviewers have mistaken the 3560 for some other model of phone. Or perhaps the phone has other features enabled with non-AT&T cell providers. But here's the facts about the 3560, AT&T version:

1) there is no infrared port on the phone. Nor is there mention of an infrared port anywhere in the manual. The diagram of the phone in the manual does not depict an infrared port.

2) the manual does not mention anything about synchronizing the phone with anything. There is no listing in the manual for "synch" or "synchronize." Under "Phone Book" in the index there is no mention in the manual of synchronizing the phone with a PC. Under "Phone Book" in the table of contents, there is no mention of synchronizing it with anything. There is no mention of a data cable in the "accessories" section of the manual.

I have a 3560 and love it. It's a great phone. But the phone book doesn't synchronize with anything, and I consider that to be a weakness. Why do I want to manually input addresses and phone numbers for 250 different entities only to have to re-enter all that information if the phone dies or I get a different phone?

Summary: Too Loud!
Review: Personally, I love this phone. I have it, and it's amazing. The colors are awsome, and you get to really personalize it. I picked a backround called "the sea" and it's really awesome to see a beautiful sea in the backround while I'm dialing a number or something. The ringtones are really cool, and the applications they have are wonderful. I can convert celsius to farenheit, or vice versa. I can convert many other things such as currency. They also have a money portfolio, but I don't really use it. The only faults I find with it are its volume and games. I was listening to the ringtones once, and put the phone next to my ear. It played this one super loud note, and my ear went deaf, for like, 5 minutes. The games,I find, get easily tiring, and the instructionsto play them are too complex. Also, the music they play with the games is loud and irritating, so I turned the sound off for games. Besides those things, I absolutely adore this phone!

Summary: Nice Phone
Review: The is my second Nokia phone and I am very pleased with this phone. The calls come in clearer then my Nokia 5165. The display is very bright and clear. I like the feature of the different profiles and the ablity of setting the profile to be timed. It will stay on silent for a set time and then swith to the default profile.

The color display is great. I went back to the 5165 to get the phone numbers and enter them into the 3560 and it was hard to beleive I used this phone so long. The mono color screen on the 5165 is something I could never go back to after a few days with this phone.

I do find it hard to find a belt clip cover for this phone, I was looking for one that would cover the numbers of the phone on the phone. I found one but it is for another Nokia phone but I cannot recall what this model number for this phone.

The bottons for moving on thur and selections of the screens was a little hard to get used to, but worth the extra time it takes to adjust to this phone.

It is great to be able to add more then one phone number for each person entered in the phonebook.

Summary: Still love Nokias - Model 3500 Series
Review: They are hardy and were first phones that used more lines and easier menus I believe from five years ago. They haven't changed at all since in terms of menu & interface since which used to be the best, but it's getting a bit boring/limited. It still is a very easy to use for the people who aren't technical. It definitly is easier to learn without needing a manual with it's bigger screen compared to a Motorola V601, or a Simens SM56 (nightmare!)

The color screen makes it very easy to see & the keyboard lights up SO bright, it can be used almost as a FLASHLIGHT! No worrying about it being too dark to see AT ALL!

The ringer volume highest setting is loud enough to even hear in a purse, unlike other phones such as the Motorola V60i. The ringtones that are pre-installed are ALL a "cluby/dance" type that vibrate to the music to give it extra bass.

There were some glitches that normally Nokia never has, such as on the conversion, if you hit "5" it just switches the top & bottom conversion types.

The games had horrible instructions on the phone (none in the user manual) like most products it explained the easy parts such as how to start the game, but didn't explain the harder parts such as the point of the game or exactly how to move or why.

This phone was still the easiest to compared to other phones with a smaller screen or isn't color. The newer ones have more of a computer menu system that is also easy to use.

Summary: A decent phone by Nokia, but nothing special
Review: This is a very good phone for anyone who is a Nokia fan or who doesn't want anything fancy. It will call people and receive calls. It has a color screen, downloadable ring tones and games, and has a decent audio quality. There is no camera or bluetooth or advanced organization tools. It is growing increasingly outdated and by a year from now hardly anybody will be using it anymore, but if you own this phone I wouldn't go running to throw it out just yet. It gets the job done, but isn't going to wow you in the process.
