Summary: nokia 3200 THE BEST
Review: I have owned this phone for only a month now but it has exceeded my expectations.

It has a flashlight, I even have my friends asking to use the flashlight.
It has a camera, great for the times when your really wish you had one.
It has speaker phone, less distraction when in the car.
It has a radio, perfect during commute on the train during my morning show.
It has software for creating your own cover, I love to have my own style and this is the way too do it.
The alarm, wakes me up every morning at 5am the sound and the vibration against my file cabinet.
The battery is great, my last phone, a nokia, couldnt hold a charge for an hour talk time, now i can play games listen to the radio, and have 3 or 4 hours of talk time.

It has a cheap plastic case that already has some ugly scratches and it has never been dropped, but small price to pay for all the other pros.

p.s. you can listen to the radio on loudspeaker with the headset plugged in, great for when im working in a home with no music.

Summary: fun...but not as serious when you want it to be.
Review: I love the phone. I know lots of people stir away from buying it because of the stupid plastic and the keypad's strange layout but it's actually not that bad at all. After using it for a while...I've come to get acustomed to it and I can actually dial numbers without looking at the phone.

CONS
- cheap plastic
- too bulky for my taste
- poor camera quality
- basic calendar/schedule system (unlike the samsung that i previously had...that one was almost like a PDA!)
- no volume control on the sides
- limited choices of how you want your phone to look and function.
- radio only functions if you have your headset in
- no bluetooth
- does not ring loud enough when you're in busy public places (couldn't hear it in Costco or in bars)...I always have to put it on vibrate

PROS
- camera phone
- got my money's worth
- interchangeable wallpaper
- interchangeable faceplates...even if it looks crapy if your plastic case is scratchy
- radio
- flashlight...very handy at night. especially when looking for stuff inside the car or when waking up in the middle of the night.
- alarm clock
- take pictures and assign them to your contact's phone numbers. took pictures of my friends and everytime they called their pictures come up!
- EDGE enabled
- international phone
- speakerphone
- java enabled...perfect for games when you're bored (you get more choices when downloading them)
- battery life is decent

I could go on and on...but I'll stop. lol. This phone is really fun to have...but when it comes to more serious stuff...like calendars, calculators, contact lists...it's not good enough.

Summary: a Nifty little phone
Review: i recently got this phone when i fell in love looking around online for a new cell phone. this phone had all the features i was looking for and a whole lot more, and it did not break the bank. here is (in my opinion) the good, bad, necessary, and nifty features:

necessary:
*well, it can make calls-i have a plan through at&t and the network is wonderful
*text messaging- this is so easy to send a message to anyone if it is important but you dont need or want to talk about it
*picure messaging- duh! what good is the camera if you cant share youre pix with others!!

nifty:
*THE COVER!- this is such a genius idea. i love it how my phone can say a lot about my mood! its so fun to be creative that way
* the flashlight- wow! i totally underestimated how much i'd use this feature!
* I Love the fact that you can associate a picture with a person in your address book so when they call you see that picture
* the radio is really handy and even though you must have the headphones plugged in, you dont have to listen thought the headphones.

yes the moment you've all been waiting THE BAD:
* the case scratches really easily (this can be solved by buying another offbrand case that works with the phone. i've found some for as low as $6)
* the photo quality isnt all taht great but heck how much can you expect from a lil camera like this one

oh, and price. its advertised here as 170$. on at&t it was $169.99 then there was a 100$ rebate then since i got it with a plan it was only $19.99. not at all bad compared to all it can do!!

overall: i love it. you should definatly at least consiter it. it is worth its value and can do almost anything you throw at it.(warning! do not take that literally! do not throw things at your phone!)

Summary: Lots of features, but are they really useful?
Review: I recently upgraded from my Nokia 8260 that has served me really well for over 3 years and still works great! AT&T service has been great too!

This 3200 has a lot of features, but I wonder if there are any over the 8260 that I will really use.
For example,
- IM & Web access- I'm told AT&T mMode is expensive & slow
- FM Radio- you can use it only if the headset (that contains the antenna) is plugged in! The headset isn't easy to plugin.
- Camera- the quality (resolution) is not so good

Lastly, I found that one feature thats missing in the 3200 is the
ability to define calling card numbers. My 8260 has this, and its
really convenient to use for calling internationally.

Summary: Nokia 3200 rocks!
Review: I use the 3200 on the T-Mobile network and it rocks. Buy a AT&T pay-to-go version and unlock it to use on any network like T-Mobile. (type "nokia unlocking org" on google and follow first link for unlocking website)

Pro's,
1. Excellent reception and voice quality.
2. Decent price without any new contract, just buy it off the shelf.
3. Good feature set with a nice color screen, FM radio, speakerphone, camera, fun faceplate cutouts, etc.
4. New fresh design with funky keypad and translucent cover. Stand out from the crowd of similar looking flips.
5. Headset, fast charger and a decent manual included.
6. Intutive menus and fast text messaging with T9.
7. Very good battery life.
8. Includes "Bounce" a pretty decent game and possibility of downloading more.
9. Easy to unlock for use on any GSM network.

Con's,
1. Features are more geared for use by young people and not business users.
2. Camera quality is poor, as is the case with most of other phones on market now.
3. Works only in USA, Canada. No GSM 900/1800 bands on it.

In short this is an excellent phone from Nokia with a very affordable pricetag.

Summary: What a nice surprise
Review: I used to be an avid Nokia user until Sony Ericsson came out with a few feature-packed phones around 2003. Recently I checked out the cell phone market again, since it was time for me to get a new phone, and I decided to go back to Nokia again. Here's what I've found so far with the Nokia 3200 (with AT&T Wireless).

PROS:
-- Camera phone; not perfect quality, but still fun and comparable to other camera phones (same quality as the Sony Ericsson T616)
-- Nice, intuitive menus; I didn't need to read the manual at all
-- The buttons are bright and feel nice
-- Responds well; I've found that other phones, like my Sony Ericsson, has a irritating delay when accessing many features, or if there are too many text messages in your Inbox; this Nokia does things right away, very little delay
-- EDGE technology; fast loading of WAP/mMode pages
-- Bright display; can be seen in daylight too, unlike some other phones with color displays
-- Easy to read fonts/text
-- Quirky, fun features, like a built-in mini flashlight, radio, and radio alarm clock
-- Battery life is great; I'm actually getting slightly more talk time than they stated (4 hours)!
-- AT&T Wireless overall has provided great customer service; great, quality service in my experience (nice voicemail features, etc.)
-- If this matters to you, this model has a lower radiation rating than most (www.cnet.com)

CONS:
-- The plastic case can cheapen the appearance of the phone, in my opinion; but it is a neat feature if you want to play around with different templates
-- No volume control on the side of the phone, although you can adjust volume during a call by using the buttons on the front of the phone
-- Slightly lower resolution/quality screen than a few other phones, like the Sony Ericsson T616, for example
-- No bluetooth; although most people probably would not use this

Summary: what a pleasant little surprise
Review: initially i thought the design was ugly, however, the fact that it had a camera, loudspeaker, fm radio and flashlight overcame aesthetic issues.

when i opened the box, the phone didnt look like the ugly phone i had researched on the internet. after looking it over, turns out this is actually one of the more beautiful phones to come along in a while.

it has the typical nokia shape but it is quite smaller and lighter than your typical nokia. pics of this phone on the internet make it appear to be the same size as most other nokia phones.

one of the first details i noticed was that the shell (case?) is clear on the front and back. apparently, the design incorporates a feature where custom graphics can be inserted in the phone and are viewable from the outside.

the radio is a treat because, surprisingly, it is not at all cumbersome to operate. the included earpiece headset (doubles as an antenna; the radio cannot function without it on) is useful for phone conversations but i've had to get used to using a single earpiece for listening to fm radio while working out at the gym. however, a stereo headphone is available.

the flashlight is great because i used to use the light from my 3595 keypad and screen when fumbling for dropped items in a dark movie theater or car.

the loudspeaker is a nice addition; rare on nokia phones. it also functions as a speaker for fm broadcasts and the built in alarm clock.

the obvious shortcomings of this phone are the finger-hurting hard keyboard (though the design is fine, not as unuserfriendly as it looks, even if it looks unconventional), the placement of the date (it blocks the graphic), the position of the camera (it should be higher up so one is less apt to block it with the fingers), and the lack of included polyphonic ringers (my 3595 had some very good ones).

the color display lacks the size, resolution and 65000+ colors available on some of the larger color display phones, however it looks pretty decent (better than on my old 3595) and i prefer smaller, lighter phones.
