Summary: Slider
Review: It was christmas, i crept downstaires to the sitting room, and saw a present gleaming in the light of the fireplace, i opened it and with excitment in my eyes i saw the Kyocera Slider staring back at me, and it wasnt soon till i had become hooked on the phone...

pros: color, slider action, affordable, customizable
cons: only 4 games, no other accesories for cover..

this phone is pretty cool, but the bad thing is it takes a while to get use to the buttons, you cant download games, and the music is only used for Virgin mobile, MTV, and VH1 therefore places like zingy, are not accesable with this phone

Summary: Cool but a little pricey
Review: I love my new virgin mobile slider phone, but the price is a little expensive. I spent most of my christmas money on just one thing! I'm not sure if it was worth it but it is stylish and all of my friendz can't keep their hand off of it. I love the ringtone choices and the wallpaper, but the vibration is kind of weak. Not like I put it on vibrate that much anyway. But if the price goes down I guarantee virgin mobile will sell A LOT more phones. So virgin mobie consider that and consider getting a camrea attachment!

Summary: Awesome!
Review: I got this phone for Christmas. It is so sleek and stylish, it's hard to believe it's a prepay phone! It is very customizable: desktops, screensavers, color themes, ringtones, operating sounds...it has it all! The special features are cool too!

I can't wait to show this hot phone off to all my friends!

Summary: It;s good, but...
Review: This phone is good, but it is a bit expensive and even though it is a color phone and looks really cool and all that, it's not really worth it. Don't be fooled by advertisments saying it has GPS or something, because I just got it today for Christmas and I've been playing around with it all day. The minutes and commitment is also a bit expensive. I don't intend to discredit anything, ...

Summary: pretty good
Review: This is a really good phone, but the mtv stuff is so dumb. everybody says it looks great but as soon as they see the mtv menu or the sticker they think it is a little kids phone. it really takes away from the phone and i hope virgin comes out with a regular version. i also hope they never try to get mtv or vh1 branding again. it looks so stupid to see a tv station on your phone! a lot of people don't like mtv

Summary: Best phone I've ever owned
Review: I got my Virgin Mobile Slider a few weeks after it was released. One of the first things I noticed was how many people were complimenting it. Some couldn't believe I could get such a sweet phone on a prepay plan. It's got so many features that I could never possibly find a use for all of them. But my favorites include the access to both VH1 to go and *MTV (accessing these sites doesn't use airtime), downloadable ringtones, and the versions of Tetris and Brick Attack (similar to Atari's Breakout). The screen is large and full color, which is very nice, and the phone even has a feature that regulates a call's volume based on the amount of background noise present. The keypad buttons are pretty small but that hasn't really been a problem yet. However, there are a few drawbacks to the phone- for example, the only sites Virgin Mobile allows access to are VH1togo, *MTV, and Virgin Mobile USA. Another bad point is the vibration feature- the vibration is very weak and difficult to detect. Along the same lines, some of the ringtones are kind of quiet and hard to hear- even on the loudest volume setting. Still, it's the best phone to get if you don't want to have to be bound to a contract.

Summary: Slider Rocks!
Review: This phone leaves me speechless... It has SO many features including Caller ID, Voice Mail, Text Messaging... The phone is beyond awesome... It's different than any phone I've ever seen before but it is so cool... Tell me how many prepaid color screen phones you can get for less than $250... When you buy the Slider phone ANYWHERE it dosen't cost $250, It dosen't cost $200 you're not even going to pay $160!!! You can get this phone anywhere for $159!!! Plus, there is no $30 activation fee like every other prepaid company charges... so instead of wasting your money getting a phone number, you can get 120 minutes worth of talk time... This is the best deal you will EVER come upon... BUY IT! Don't hesitate!!!

Summary: Thinking about getting this phone
Review: I am thinking about getting this phone but the only thing i dont like about virgin mobile is the .25 cents a minute, i hope i talk long enough to get the .10 cents. and the other thing i am wondering about can i get more games for it? I have cingular prepaid now, i i dont like the service and the phone too much, but was thinking about getting a nokia 3560 prepaid, but i dont like the nokia phones any more, so thats why i am considering getting this phone, and after hearing all the reviews about it. The coverage for it here in upstate new york is i htink better than cingular coverage. Also i am wondering can i get more ringtones for it say from other sites including getting more games for it.. I think the speaker phone would be good for me, especially driving all the time, and i dont like wearing a headset. The speaker phone is anoither think i like. And i am also wondering if i can use the data cable to download ringers and games to the phone. Does anyone know if you can do these things on this phone? If i can get more ringtones, games, and use the data cable then i would get this phone.. Please Help..
I would give it 5 stars if knowing it can do this.

Review: I wanted a contract phone so bad i could smell it. I was online ordering a t-mobile phone when my friend called me, from her SLIDER! She goes. Girl you have to get this phone it is amazing and blah blah blah. I then go to the v-mobile website to see what the fuss was all about and i couldn't believe it. A PREPAID IN COLOR!!!!!! I was estatic! I came to this site to get the customers reviews and that alone made this phone a must-have for me. Thank you Kyocera! I am off to get one today.

Summary: Beautiful Design -- Great Execution
Review: Being an Apple user, design of a product is important to me. This phone not only works beautifully, but it looks, too.
I got this yesterday (Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2003) and I haven't been able to put it down since. I've been with Virgin for about a year, and I bought this from Circuit City to replace my old 'Party Animal' -- Kyocera 2119b, which was feelin' its age.
The colour screen is amazing, and I get really good 'shock' factor from it -- everyone wants to hold it! And hear it, considering its MIDI tones and sounds.
As for service, I had Sprint before Virgin, and it worked fine for me, but I don't get service in my school, which has to do with the campus itself. (Our system is SO backwards!)
Thanks Virgin Mobile/Kyocera for giving us a blast again!
- My 'Party Animal' is going to my friend, for those who were wondering. ; )
