Rating: Summary: Cool Looking - But Impractical. Review: I must admit I bought this phone because of the unique appearance and the online reviews. I bought my husband a Motorola T221 at the same time. I am real-estate salesperson and a busy mom who relies on my phone heavily. I value battery life, reception, ease of use - and thought the camera was an excellent plus. Java is beyond me, as are most of the features on this phone. It might be a great tool. I don't know, nor do I have the time to figure out all of the pluses. It is awkward to hold, has a poor battery life and getting your messages is a five-step process because of the extensive menu. Also, the design of the phone is wonderful - but you can't find a case for it that will protect the screen! The only cases out there have a plastic guard over the keypad. The size of this phone prohibits putting it in your pocket, so with no case - in the purse or briefcase it goes. If this phone were in my purse of briefcase for a few months - it would be trashed. I'm returning it for the Motorola. This might be a great item for some - but for someone who just wants to make & receive calls, get their messages, not drop calls and take a few photos when the opportunity arises - this is not the phone for me. When I want Java and email I'll go to my pc.
Rating: Summary: Horrible service Review: I loved the phone, and I don't think any other phone in current market can beat it but lags with patchy and horrible service. It has all functions anyone can ask for, including palm type, easy link to computer for synching, very nice camera, awesome screen and the dial. Only cons, I see is the size of it and the material it is made of, once it is dropped, marks and cracks on it really hurts if you are attached to this beautiful phone.
Rating: Summary: Wait until T-Mobile knows how to use Bluetooth Review: I just got this phone today and I'm sending it back. The buttons stuck on the only 2 calls I made and the phone gets uncomfortably hot! T-Mobile customer service is not at all helpful and I couldn't find anyone who knew about how to hook up bluetooth to my laptop. I have a new laptop with bluetooth already installed and I was able to get the laptop and the phone to connect to each other but I was stalled at a screen that asked for some identifying info from T-Mobile. I was prompted to call them to get my user ID, password, etc. One person I had on the phone sent me to a web page on the T-mobile site to get some software for the bluetooth connection. Only Windows versions of the software were available. When I said I was on a Mac, he either hung up on me or my cheek hit the disconnect button on this poorly designed phone. The rebate deal is great, the phone was free. But, it's still not worth it to me.
Rating: Summary: Don't drop this fragile phone. UI and screen are beautiful.. Review: I just received this phone. It feels like something Barbie would use in her little red plastic Corvette. The Symbian UI is beautiful though and the camera is fun, but just please don't drop this baby (reminding self). It ain't no Motorola... I bought it for its Bluetooth so that I could try out wireless anywhere web surfing. I plan to use my NX-70, Expansys bought Bluetooth Memory stick, Nokia 3650, and the Netfront Web browser to access sites. Who knows if it'll work! One thing I've realized is Palmpilots are about to go bye bye because all that functionality is already present in the Nokia 3650. The only upside to a Palm is a larger screen. That's why I think the Tungsten T|3 is a real device. Palm knows you can't shoehorn a 320x480 screen onto a cell phone...
Rating: Summary: Got phone but has some glitches Review: I love the phone, its features, Nice battery life. Camera, infrared, bluetooth all work fine. but the first piece i had started getting problems after a few months. Some of the keys would stop working for a few hours. Tmobile sent a replacement. worked fine for a week, and keep rebooting itself. they sent another replacement in 2 days, and all seems fine now.
Rating: Summary: Terrific phone! Nokia always solid Review: I have always like Nokia phones b/c they are so reliable. THis one fits perfectly into that mode. Decent camera, great reception and acoustics and the screen is great on the eyes. I totally recommend and T Mobile has solid coverage.
Rating: Summary: Super! Review: This is a phone/camera/internet/toaster-oven. I assume the toaster-oven part - after all, it does everything else. The color is great, the thing seems to have no limits. I can even make it work. This phone is delightfully intuitive. At age 63 it's not that easy to figure out this stuff, usually. I have the T-Mobile service. Works like a charm and doesn't cost as much as I thought it would. They don't lock you in for two years, either. Go for this one. It's an adventure!
Rating: Summary: Cutting edge phone for every James Bond fan Review: I'm very impressed with the web browsing on the 3650. I can get directions, find shops nearby, use the yellow pages, and look up directions right from my phone. I feel like I have a GPS in my hands when I'm using this superb Nokia device. The 3650 also captures pictures in 640 x 480, which isn't bad at all for a phone camera. After transferring the pictures back to your PC, you may wish to do some color correction and digital noise elimination in Photoshop. Many of the early digital cameras (1995 - 1996) offered resolutions only up to 640 x 480; in fact, I still have an old digital camera (circa May '96) that doesn't even offer resolutions that high. Bluetooth connectivity with the 3650 has worked well for me. I've been able to transfer files to and from the phone via BT. The USB/BT adapter that I own is made by Belkin. I'm also amazed by the battery strength of this device. I had a long conversation with someone and later noticed that the phone's battery meter still showed full power. That strength is a dramatic improvement over my Nokia 8290. So much is good about this phone that I do not have the space to discuss everything. I highly recommended this fantastic piece of technology from Nokia.
