Rating: Summary: u will miss lot of calls Review: I don't know how many calls i missed with this phone bacause ringer sound is so low. If you put your phone in your purse or your pocket, you will not hear your phone ringing. Plus, without my handset, I coudln't barely hear. Only reason I bought this phone is that it had a camera. But I found out I couldn't send multimedia messege like the commercial unless the person I am sending it to had same carrier as i did. Do yourself a favor, avoid this phone!!!!
Rating: Summary: Looks good , nice features, not usable indoors Review: Got it yesterday, seemed cool, lots of features, came all set setup and ready to use (battery charged, acct setup).Used around house seemed fine, today in office no signal, in Target no signal , in grocery store no signal. Seems like in N.J. w/ Tmobile not usable indoors at all. Tried N. Jersey and central Jersey. Outside seems fine. So if u want it for the cool look/features but not to make/receive calls then it's fine. Not sure if it's the built in antenna or tmobile or both.
Rating: Summary: All in one and good one... Review: First thing, I was amazed with the clarity and size of the pictures. It's features are enarmous.. MMC media card makes life lot easier for storing pictures and what not.. I even tried it as a webcam, mp3 player.. they work pretty good. Only thing is it converts mp3 files to wav format.. heck what.. it works that's fine. Size is little big but I can trade off with the features. It has a loud speker which is very convinient. Bluetooth + Infrared makes anything compatible.. J2ME capability is a very good advantage. Ringtones.. wow this is amazing.. You can even customize person's voice as ringtone to his/her number.. Few drawbacks are.. Can't hear the ring properly.. it's very feable. Any ring tone.. Overall good phone to buy..
Rating: Summary: A great phone Review: I got this phone a month ago from amazon.com. Now I am become more and more satisfied with this phone, and it is free! For its appearance, when saw it at CircuitCity, the plastic model there is not attractive. Also, it is bigger than Motorola 722, which is also free at amazon. However, when I was holding my 3650, I feel good. My hand is sort of middle size in men (with tennis racquet 4 1/2 grip). It just holding this stuff perfectly. The surface is well made. Some one complained that the screen cover is easy to be scratched. It is true. But not that bad, I put it in my pocket with no other hard things and feel it is acceptable. In addition, it is easy to get full replacement of both covers. The design of this phone is quite unique, esp. the keypad. If you think you want something new, not 4 lines with 3 button each. It is a good choice. And the pure blue color backlit is quite fancy, you will love it in darkness. The thing I want to mention is I think this design is for man, esp. for man with age 25-35, mature, but still very young. The screen is only 4,096 colors, but it is good. I had put some full color photo as background and got vivid display. It is enough, I should say. So do not worry about this point. I also compared this screen with Motorola 722, the great difference is that the 3650¡¯s screen looks bigger and sharper. It looks that 3650 had smaller display element, and the black separation lines between elements are much thinner than 722. Therefore, the graphic looks more continuously and comfortable. The operating system is Symbian. It provided the full function a mobile should has. The GUI looks more like a color screen pda, compare with 722. The text name of program is under each icon, so you won¡¯t confuse even at the begining. The functions are easy to use, with build-in topic help, which is available nearly everywhere. The overall interface is quite comfortable, from font to layout to color. The speed of CPU is a little slow, you will see the loading process while switch between function. The communication functions are great. The IR and Bluetooth give you the freedom to connect to PC and other device. Loading your favorite picture to phone is easy. I mention this, because my friend wants to share the photo on my 3650. But no way to load it from PC or by wireless way, or it will be extra pay for hardware upgrading or multimedia message service. Also, by IR and bluetooth, you have the power to access Internet at anytime by making it as a modem. The connection speed through IR is 9600bps, not fast, but it is really good that you get extra function without extra pay. This is useful, one example, suppose when you are on your trip. You can be online at anytime to get priceline.com for your great savings for ticket and hotel. Printed coupons? Forget it! The camera function is fine, but do not expect too much, it come with photo quality more like a web camera, suitable for portrait maybe. The image is not sharp. The best thing brought by the camera is the feel of fun, not photo quality. For the battery life, I make calls for about 30 mins per day. The battery can last within 3 days. It is not as long as advertised.
Rating: Summary: Awesome Phone Review: My last phone was the ultra-crappy Kyocera 2235 with Verizon. (If you're thinking of getting it, I absolutely urge you to avoid it at all costs!) This beauty of a phone really lets me live the good life (and for FREE I might add). I've had the 3650 for 3 months now, and it's the greatest phone I've ever used. Not only is the T-Mobile reception pretty good, but the built in still picture/video camera is amazing. The pictures are fantastic for a phone, and although the video isn't as great, it records sound, and is good enough to capture the magic of a moment. The color screen is big and beautiful, and shows colors very well. The t-zones internet is good, but sort of slow, so don't count on it as the actual internet, just a very cool feature that is good for e-mail, and other things like movie times and sports figures. The keypad takes some getting used to, but is no reason not to buy this phone. Also, some people commented on the size of the phone. It may be larger than most, but it's much lighter than you'd expect, and the size really doesn't bother me. I've had no problem putting it in my pants or jacket pocket. It feels big in the hand, but can really fit anywhere. BUY THIS PHONE NOW!!!!!
Rating: Summary: Nokia 3650 Phone Review: This phone is an okay phone. The pros: screen saver, you can put any background for your phone, take somewhat decent photos, so many ring tones, it takes only a few minutes to completely charge the phone The cons: they charge ($) a month for their internet service, you can ONLY email pictures from your phone if you purchase the internet service, you can barely hear a lot of the ring tones from your phone, you must stay very still when you snap a picture, if you get too close to a person's face, they wind up looking like Mr. Potato Head in the picture, the phone itself feels like it's made of very cheap plastic, you can't get good reception a lot of the time, especially at home.
Rating: Summary: my first week with Nokia 3650 Review: i'm very impressed with this phone. i read a few review before buying it, and found a few things to be wrong in them. First, you CAN record sound and video at the same time. Just make sure you speak up and there isnt any other noise going on in the room. Second, the screen is very light and easy to read - unless your driving, which you should be looking at your phone anyway! Lastly, the pictures are not perfect quality for printing, but it's mainly a phone, not a camera! When you take a picture, hold the camera as still as possible, that makes the pictures come out crisp and clear. I hope this is helpful!
Rating: Summary: Great Phone--A Best Buy Review: The Nokia 3650 is a great phone! I purchased it off of Amazon.com and am very happy with it. Usually, the free phones that stores give are junky and are always needing fixing; however, the Nokia is a great phone. The one problem with it is its a little big, but otherwise, its an awesome phone. Thanks Amazon.com for letting me own this great phone for free!
Rating: Summary: Nokia #1 Review: This has to be the finest phone Nokia ever put out! This is the first phone I have seen that has a Secure digital flash card (16 Mb)storage. It can be removed and put in a card reader to download the pictures (JPEG format) you took with the phone to your computer. And the camera takes half decent pics to boot! They look better on the computer screen then in the phone. You can also take any pic with a digital camera, use photo software to resize it to 640 x 480, put it on the SD card and show it on the phone screen! Nokia mentions none of this in the user guide. The other features on this phone are great. The menu system is icon driven, very easy to see and use. The layout of the buttons is kind of wierd, but you get used to it. It also has PDA style memo and calendar entries. Also a great calculator. Too much more to mention. GET THIS PHONE, YOU WILL LOVE IT!
Rating: Summary: Good phone.. a little tough to configure Review: Out of the box the phone worked like a charm. I was a little concerned after reading some of the reviews. However, the phone was very "quiet" (had to do some volume adjusts to get it to a normal level). The tweaking took some time because the manual is quite large and doesn't include everything that I needed to do. Such as: FREE TIP #1- To change your background screen: go to Menu-Tools-Settings-Phone-Standby mode and turn off the background image. Now you can turn it back on and tell it what image you want for your background. Other than that, I am a little disappointed that I have to manually go into the connections folder and keep activating the infrared when I want to use it. I guess this is a safety issue. My main point is.. this phone isn't exactly user friendly. However, after some work you can get it to work really well. It has some great options.. so I can deal with the horrible configuration.
