Summary: Disappointment
Review: At first, this phone's cute looks caught my attention. Now, having bought it in Late August, 2003, I have had to replace it twice because the screen has broken. I do not handle it roughly or allow others to do so, but the screen has inexpliccably broken both times, despite no outwards appearance of damage. The outside screen has been scratchless and the surface of the phone itself has been scratchless both times, leading me to believe this is merely a design flaw.
I am now going to upgrade to the new Kyocera Slider, hoping it will be less disappointing.

Review: I must confess that I was taken by the phyiscal appearance and size of the Audiovox 8500 model. But it would be nice if they would work . I ordered my first one from Bestbuy on-line and when it arrived nothing was in the box. Purchased another (same place) and this time it actually was in the box! After activating it with Virgin Mobile , I sadly discovered that it would not ring or receive a call. I reluctantly purchased another
which seemed to have worked for about three months and now it too will only go to voice mail mail when dialed ???
My girl friend's phone is now doing the same thing...what a joke
I have called Virgin Mobile for assistance and explained the problem, truthfully I have not been happy with these people either. I now know this phone and the pay as you go with Virgin
Mobile was too good to be true. You decide!!

Summary: Awesome and stylish
Review: Wow, this phone blew my mind i mean its great to go to the mall, beach, and even the movies i jsut love carrying it around its great and my parents were okay with the terms and everything, which was great too! Overall a awesome product and i recommend this to all kids and grown-ups

Review: i just got this phone 2 weeks ago (...) and i wanted to get a reagular plan but my parents insisnted that we buy from virgin mobile. After 2 weeks of use this phone is great. It has mostly all of the capabilities of the color phones and it is very small and light. All my friends have color phones so at first i was a little embaressed to show off my no color audiovox but after reading what this phone can do i can proudly show it off because the onyl thing that it does not have after games which is alright. It probably for the better because i dont think my parents would like to see a $$$ chage for games. The virgin mobile site is very useful and there are hundreds of polyphonic ring tones to choose from. They are only $ and it makes your rings more personalized. And having and mtv internet based surver is also a big plus with my friends. the serive is great and i havent been disconected once and the standby time is generous. It has a lot of cool ferature where if u press a button the sound on all aspects of your phone shut off until u hold that button again. This is called etiquette mode and its great for kids in school or people in business meetings. There are really no cons to this phone ecept that it is not in color and it does not have a camera attachment but what do u need those things for a phone is used for calling people not playing games. Overall i am very happy with my phone and the serive plan i can always check how much money i have left in my account and if i need more. i would reccomend this phone to kids like me or for people who want a phone only for the use in an emergency. If u plan to talk a lot on the phone look elsewhere.

Review: First off, let say that the customer service is EXCELLENT! Best by far I've ever come across. It was almost midnight when I called, and once I got past the voice activated robot (just screw up what you're supposed to be saying and it redirects you to a real person almost immediately), I couldn't believe how friendly and upbeat the person on the phone was. Activating and programming my phone took 5 minutes. It was beautiful. As for the phone, it's just nifty! It's small, it's compact, and it's relatively easy to use. It looks nice, it's got great reception, and it comes with a prepaid, no strings attached plan. What more do you want?

Summary: Teen Bday
Review: For my 13th Birthday, I asked my parents to buy me a cell phone. They were a litle hesitent at first, but they gave in. I saw a good phone, but they wanted me to get a prepaid one, so i don't go over my minutes. I gave in, even though I still didn't like the idea. Then when I got the phone, I thought that it was great!
The small size had all of my friends mystified, and they thought that it wasn't a real phone! But I love all of the things you can do with it, its a life saver for me!

Review: I bought this phone yesterday and I was amazed how compact it was but although it is small it still has all the great features of any other phone. The reception is great and Virgin Mobile has the absolutely best customer service!

Review: I own this phone and I have to say it is one of the best phones ever! Beside the fact that it doesn't have a digital camer ( Who cares?! Go buy a camera! Phones are to talk on! ) Anyways-it has a lot of great features and it very good looking! It turns heads! Trust me, everyone has asked about mine and how they love it! So it's great! I highly recommend this phone over any other phone out there, unless you was a camera in it!

Summary: Pretty Good Phone
Review: This phone is an awesome deal! The price isnt too high, and there are a lot of neat options for backlight colors, pictures, etc. Its perfect for teenagers because it is small, convenient...and prepaid. The only problem was setting it up how I wanted it. The phone itself is wonderful, but some of the directions in the manual do not work like they say they should, which can get frustrating. Overall though, this phone is a great find!
