Summary: Over all Im very happy with phone.
Review: I have only had the phone a short time. I upgraded from a LG VX10 but over all Im very happy with the LG VX6000. The phone is simple to use and if you have used LG flip phones before then you want need the manual. I read that alot of people complain about the phones lights turning off while typing, well that aint so because as long as you are typing it keeps the lights on and you can set the inside lights for seconds to minutes to always on. The signal strentgh is good and I live in a mountains region and on a road where people loose reception the LG VX6000 all digital phone still had one bar on this road. Now another copol detail is if your phone keeps loosing reception in areas it will only search for towers every fifteen minutes wich is good to save battery. I had a phone that always searched and a full charge in that area would be dead by end of day without making any calls so I like that. The pictures are real nice and the phone come with some good ring tones but I use normal phone ring. The voice recognitionis awsome, I had a phone where you could only say one name like John but this one you can say John Doe and it repeats it back to you correctly.

Now down sides are that its all digital no analog but Im not complaining because I new this when I bought it but you might not. Also the outside display goes off to save battery but if you want to see the time then I just push the right side button to turn it back on but that is another non important down side. The lights on the numbers when the phone is opened are nice but not that bright and the end and send button are'nt very well lit, now that is a ligit gripe. The camera lens cant be covered and it has no flash but then again if your taking pics in the dark buy a real camera. Another grip I see is that it only holds 20 pics but theres ways around that and if you put more then 20 pics on in two or three days, buy a real camera. Over all this phone is great and Im happy with it so unlike the 6100 wich I had problems with a few days after getting it but then again might have been that one phone but if your looking at this phone then I dont believe you will be unhappy. Summary: Better than I ever expected
Review: I have to say that I was somewhat hesitant about purchasing this phone. After having broken just about every phone in the past I was worried that I would do the same with this one. It is the smallest phone that I have had but I must say it is the most durable. I have dropped it more times than I can count and it hasn't let me down yet. The graphics and color quality are excellent. It is a good camera phone although the pictures are not of the best quality. I love the voice dialing feature as well as the sound quality of the ring tones. It does not come with any games but you can download those for a few bucks. Overall I am very pleased and look forward the the next line of these great phones.

Summary: Nice phone, but only average reception.
Review: I like the phone's features in general, but I have to disagree with the other reviews regarding reception. My family has noticed an obvious loss of reception with all of our LG phones, since switching from our previous Kyocera phones. Locations at which we previously had solid reception, no longer have the necessary signal strength.

Summary: Note CDMA only
Review: Let me start off by the saying the phone is awesome as far as reception ability, battery life, camera phone, voice quality and everything else you would expect. I have noticed a lot of good reviews about the phone which it undoubtedly deserves (reason I gave it 4/5 stars), but I came across a few things that should be noted before you actually buy one.
1. It is in no way a small phone, it is conspicously large and bulky.
2. The curvy design may be a little feminine, for those who care.
3. Very importantly, it works only on Verizon's digital service, so if u plan to spend a lot of time outside the cities, you would want to consider something with better roaming abilities.
4. NO GAMES!!!!!!!!!!!! what was LG thinking?

Summary: Reliable and Durable
Review: This phone came free when I renewed my Verizon plan, and I have been very satisfied with it. This is my first flip phone, since I usually go for the more durable "candy-bar" phones, but at the time I got this one all of the candy-bar models that Verizon had available were fairly low-grade. So while I was a little skeptical of this, I have been very pleased with its performance.

PROS:
+ The ringer can be maxed out at an extremely loud volume. While I leave my phone on vibrate most of the time, my sister has the same phone and likes the loud ringer so that she doesn't miss calls when her phone is in her purse.
+ Easy interface for basic features; doing the basic programming is a snap.
+ Good camera. The camera is what you can expect from a phone, and you have to practice with it to take good shots. But, with practice, you can take pictures in the proper lighting that rival actual cameras. (To do so, I suggest setting the file size to the largest, then shrinking the photo on your computer using any photo editing program (MS Paint even works) to increase the resolution).
+ Battery. The battery holds a charge for a long time.

CONS:
- Battery. Battery gets very warm from extended use, which is kind of annoying.
- Aesthetics. Phone is generally durable, but scratches very easily if dropped.
- Vibrate feature. The phone could have done with a stronger vibrate; it's often hard to feel it if it's not pressed against your body (i.e., if you put it in a jacket pocket).
- Size. This phone is fairly large.
- Features. While the basic features are easy, the more advanced ones are impossible to figure out, since the instructions don't cover them and the CD Verizon gives you has even less information.

Example: how to store an image in your "My Media" folder so that it doesn't take up room in your photo album. You do this by sending the picture to yourself, then saving the picture from the picture message- it'll appear in "My Media" under "images," and you can assign it to caller ID without taking up room in the gallery. You also may want to send the image to the web via the "upload" feature, then crop it and send it to your phone from the vzwpix.com site; the phone takes images that are larger than the screen for some reason, and when the phone displays images you snapped it crops the ends off, but when it receives an image from a picture message it compresses it- so sending yourself an image you took will end up in a distorted picture. This is certainly counter-intuitive and it would have been nice to receive instructions on how to do this instead of figuring it out by accident.

OVERALL:
I wouldn't pay the money Amazon charges for this phone. But if it comes free with your Verizon plan or you can get it cheaper, go for it- it does all the basic features easily and you can (eventually) figure out the advanced ones, which are cool once you get them running.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A very good phone
Review: This phone is very good:
- holds a charge well
- takes good pictures & uploads them over the air to the Verizon web site where I can get them
- accesses the web without problems
- has a color screen good for showing pictures to others (serves as my "brag book" for my baby son)

No complaints and good reception. Also, a lot of snapshots I'd have missed otherwise!
