Summary: Major disapointment
Review: I recieved this phone as a insurance replacement for my discontinued Samsung phone. After good luck with my previous 5 or 6 Samsung phones I expected nothing but quality. Though the camera is a nice touch, the every day capabilities of this phone leave a lot to be desired.

My main complaints are sound quality, reception, and battery life. This phone constantly clips the begining and ending of sentences during rapid conversations. It also has a hollow quality reminscent of a tin can. I expereience dropped calls on a very regualar basis. I would say approximatly 33% of calls over five minutes are dropped. Battery life is far less than advertised, with reception very degraded during the last bar of battery life.

More minor complaints include: Only seven ring tones, major lag between button press and function in the menu system, and an overly quiet ring.

This phone was only on the market a short time. I suspect Cingular and Samsung quickly realized their mistake. As soon as I pick a new phone I'm going to take this one swimming...

Summary: Good But Not Great
Review: After having first a Sprint serviced Sanyo, then a Cingular serviced Nokia for service, I was very pleased with the Cingular service. When I got my new service, therefore, I stuck with Cingular and got the P107 (rebates, picture phone, etc.)

I am very disappointed.

Compared to my last phone:
1. I have 3-4 times as many "dropped calls" in the same service area which used to have excellent coverage. I can only assume this is the phone.

2. The sound quality for both reception at the cell phone, and people I'm calling on the other end is very poor. I have had 2 friends tell me idependently not to call them with that phone because the hollow noises "are too annoying."

3. The features, such as the camera, web browser, and mail are difficult and non-user friendly at best.

4. It has a nice color screen.

I would recommend buying another phone.

Summary: Awful product!
Review: After owning this new phone for 3 months, half of the screen went blank. Samsung would not repair this--you have to go thru many customer service people to get nowhere. The phone was not dropped and has no scratches on it. One rep said you can't have keys in your pocket or it ruins the LCD screen! Who would make a product like that? One rep said whenever the LCD screen is bad they say it is 'physical abuse' and don't fix it--they've got this one down. Save your time and money--don't buy this phone!

Summary: This phone does not have PICTURE CALLER ID...
Review: Amazon.com says this phone has PICTURE caller ID, but it is not correct. I checked everywhere and there is no feature for it which is really disappointing. How hard is it to program the phone to connect a name with a picture?

Pros:
-Crystal clear sound
-WAP browser
-camera
-solid build.
-Battery Life
-Lots of bells and whistles that make the phone *CUTE*

Cons:
-No PICTURE CALLER ID!!!
-Some of the features are limiting.
-When you set a picture to be your background for the phone, there are two white stripes, one on top and one on bottom. It is impossible to remove them.
-Needs more ringtones as a standard feature.
-NEEDS PICTURE CALLER ID!!!!

If I am incorrect, please let me know via email: WayneTek@hotmail.com

Summary: Beautiful body, terrible soul
Review: Even when all of the pre-loaded features are...OK, there are some details that Samsung never forgots, but it did on this cellphone:

1-Cheap plastic cover.
2-Lack of advanced features.
3-Menus aren't completely user-friendly.
4-Old WAP 1.2 navigator.
5-Unable to download Java apps.
6-Not customizable menus and presentations.

If you don't mind of this little errors of Samsung, this cellphone is right for you.

Summary: Very nice, good quality product
Review: I got this phone after being on my second Motorola V400 and it being even worse than the first in every way (buggy software, poor build quality). When I went in to claim the insurance on the V400, which was lost, I asked if it was my only option for replacement, and I was told this was the other option. The only thing I needed to hear was that the other choice was a Samsung though. Before my V400 I had Samsung phones, and the reason why is because they are quality products that can be depended on (when I moved to Cingular I got the V400 for a little bit of nothing, which is why I took the chance with it). The P107 is no exception. It is a solidly built phone with reliable software and a decent feature set. It also gets better reception than the V400 did (or, at least, it holds calls better). To me, the camera does not matter, the MMS does not matter (the high resolution screen and the speakerphone on the V400 don't matter either), what matters is that this is a phone that will work when you need it to, and will stop working when you want it too (I can't tell you how many times I had to pull the battery on the V400 to end a call).

Summary: Great
Review: I love this cell phone. I haven't had any trouble with it and I've taken lots of photos. The photos are good quality too.

Summary: Cute little phone with little customization
Review: I've had this phone for almost 8 months now. This phone has been pretty good to me. I love the bright little flashing service light. It's bright and cute and you can change it to any color you want. The screen is very bright too, enough to use as an emergency flashlight so you won't stub your toe in the dark.

Since I've had this phone I haven't really had a problem with reception, I've always managed to get good reception with this phone. I even got service where I never used to get service with my previous phones.

You can have groups and customize ringtones for each group but not for each particular contact. I also wish it had a feature to place a photo when a caller is calling you considering it's a camera phone but I have yet to figure out this feature, or if one even exists.

I've dropped my phone once, on concret might I add and it's held up alright. It has a few minor scratches on the face but other than that it's fine. I love this phone, but I'm getting sick of it. It gets old fast.

It only has two games and they're both games that have to do with an airplane which you would think is the same exact game but with minor adjustments.

If you want a phone with a lot to do, this isn't for you.

But if you want a simply phone that's compact and great for calls , it's all yours.

Summary: Excellent Phone.
Review: It is a user friendly phone. The camera function is awesome with zoom in and out(pretty high tech). The display screen has very bright colours and resolution of the screen is v good. The only thing which needs change is the addition of more ringtones.and creating own ringtones like in some sony erricson phones. If these features are added the this will be the best phone till date.

Summary: Cingular Rebate Program
Review: Such a program is the worst one yet. Every time I plan to sign up for one of their wireless plans I would get a reject email, explaining that "Cingular Wireless needs additional information" after I provided everything that was needed.
