Rating: Summary: The neatest gadget for your clie. Review: This is simply the best addition I've bought for my Sony Clie. The drivers installed quickly and flawlessly. The keyboard is a trifle thin but is of the perfect size even for my large hands. The typing response is quick and with the various function key combinations, you'll never need a stylus again.
Rating: Summary: Targus Stowaway for Sony CLIE Review: Arrived Tuesday and installed without any problem. No surprises as the Keyboard has been on the market for other devices for some time. I won't travel without it!
Rating: Summary: Great addition to the IPAQ Review: This keyboard is a great addition to the IPAQ. It drastically expands the functionality of the device for a portion of the cost. It effectively turns the palm-sized device into a laptop with a small screen. It's great for taking notes in class or writing documents somewhere other that the office. The only downside is that you need a flat surface so it doesn't bend, but overall it's a great device.
Rating: Summary: Keyboard in my pocket Review: This keyboard works great with all Visors, and I have used it for my Visor Deluxe and Visor Prism without any problems. Quite simply, it does everything I ever expected it to, flawlessly. The only problem with it is that it disrupts meetings that I bring the Visor and Stowaway to -- so many people want to see it, try it out, and watch how I fold it up into its small case. But long, boring meetings (is that redundant?) could typically use some levity on occasion anyway, so I say, "Go for it." You'll be the envy of technogeeks everywhere.
Rating: Summary: Handy little keyboard Review: I received this keyboard as a gift and I have been extremely grateful to the people who gave it to me. It is compact and light-weight, and can be used anywhere there is a flat surface. Any large book will do, but be careful as the middle does not lock in place. Other than that, it is convenient and portable.
Rating: Summary: Incredible Invention Review: I was pleasantly surprised by the ease of use and the features of this keyboard. Except for the handheld mounting pins (which do concern me), the keyboard is very sturdy. The keyboard is compatible with that of a laptop and is comfortable to use. The function keys permit access to all of the menu functions/areas and provides search capability. I find that I rarely have to use the stylus - and a handy holding area was provided for the stylus. This is an incredible invention and a great buy!
Rating: Summary: A ture marvel! Review: The Targus Stowaway keyboard is quite possibly the most useful and addition to your Pocket PC. My use of my Jornada 548 has increased dramatically since I added this keyboard. Before the keyboard I used the unit for Ebooks, Contacts and the Calendar. Now, with the ease of quick typed entry, I use the unit for minutes at meetings, writing of memo and documents, data retrieval from multiple spreadsheets and more. Excellent! The unit was very easy to install. I merely had to sync the Pocket PC to my computer and install the small application like any other. From then on I just have to start the app on my Pocket PC and away I go as soon as the unit is dropped into place. The keyboard is very robust and has a satisfying feel. It folds apart and together very quickly and is very sturdy. A truly masterful piece of engineering.
Rating: Summary: A Must Have! Review: This keyboard is amazing. You can literally now have a PC in your pocket or purse with the addition of the keyboard. It's the same size as a regular keyboard and has a good feel when typing. Installing the driver takes less than 5 minutes and is very easy and user friendly. Since it is foldable, it's best for use on a desktop or other flat surface - not on your lap or when you're walking around. However, if you're a student like I am, you'll find it a whole lot easier to take notes in class using the keyboard. No more notebooks (paper, not computer!) for me to lug around school!
Rating: Summary: Great tool Review: The reasons that I did not give this a 5: A) once in awhile it is a little hard to get the connections together successfully (minor trial-and-error resolved this) B) I downloaded the trial version of Documents-to-Go before I felt that I was ready to head out without a laptop. The combination of the PDA (mine is a handspring prism), the keyboard (which folds into its own hard case - nice) and the doc and xls capabilities added with Documents-to-Go is fantastic, and can fit into any small satchel or medium-sized purse.
Rating: Summary: You've gotta get this! Review: Through work I got an iPAQ a few months ago, and all I ever used it for was keeping track of my schedule. However, recently at a meeting I noticed someone with one of these keyboards taking notes by using the keyboard to enter data. After talking with him, I decided to get one and I am very happy with the keyboard...it has made my iPAQ much more useful in my opinion. Now, I often take it along in situations where I know I will have to take notes during a meeting or when I have a chance to type a few e-mails. The keyboard itself is very well designed and I was amazed how it folded up so neatly. The folded size is just a little bit biger than the iPAQ itself and the both fit easily into a briefcase or bag. It might be too big to carry in a pocket, though. Another thing that is nice about the keyboard is its size. It is not as big as a laptop keyboard, but is large enough to type with ease. The only thing I don't like about the keyboard is the attention you get when you use it. Eight out of ten times when I am using it somebody will walk over and ask about it. These things are so useful though, I'm amazed they are not more popular than they are. Get one...it will really increase your use of your iPAQ!
